Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Hired these guys to come and play jazz with a bunch of tap dancers for the evening and what we got was absolutely amazing... there was music flowing throughout the venue, and nobody could sit still. They worked with us and played songs we requested and every musician within the band is talented! We have already had 2 Tap Jams with them and we are currently trying to book our 3rd! They're a true jazz band! Thanks guys!"

"‘The Covered’ were fantastic for my Mum’s 70s/80s themed birthday party. We chose them from the great reviews they have online, and were certainly not disappointed. John was very responsive to all emails, and was able to accommodate all of our song requests either with the band themselves or the playlist he created for us. We were very impressed with the set up of the 6 piece band (plus their own sound engineer), and their early arrival to make sure everything was sorted before guests arrived. Throughout the night they were incredibly flexible to changes to our planned schedule e.g. starting slightly later to accommodate slower eaters! This is before we even mention their actual performance which was brilliant - both lead singers had great voices and the sound quality was just what we were looking for. We would definitely hire them again!"

"The Stereo Beats played at our wedding on 14th of September and we can't rate them high enough. We had asked the band if they could learn our first dance song which they done and were amazing. Our dancefloor was never empty and we have had so many comments from our guests since our wedding day to compliment the band and say how great they were. Would 100% recommend."

"Michael This is an email to thank you for playing at the Flodygarry last Saturday. We are just back from a week between Applecross and Shieldaig which was wonderful – and that is why I haven’t emailed sooner. We were really grateful for you all playing on our big day – and letting us know what we needed to do and when with the dancing! The playing brought the whole ceremony to life and several guests said later how impressed they were with the band, the party and how you helped the day. I know it wasn’t the biggest venue you will have ever played – but it was quite something to hear you all in a small bar on the very edge of Skye. Excellent musicians, they provided a superb selection that matched the mood and wants of our guests. Compliments came from all quarters during the party, and we were delighted that our guests were so pleased with our choice. In preparing for the booking leader, Pete Duncan spoke with me to ensure that the band understood what was needed. They got it right. We could not have made a better choice."

"The Stereobeats...what can I say? Absolutely outstanding band! After seeing them a few times previously there was only 1 band I wanted for our wedding and they absolutely did not let me down. Communication with the band beforehand was fab. And they were phenomenal on the night. Every single member of this band has unreal talent. The dancefloor was never empty. There was something for everyone although the dance section was a firm favourite.Guests are still raving about them 2 weeks later. Thank you again guys! We had the best night ever."

"I have seen a few tribute bands in my day but I admit that The Fab 5 really did impress me! First of all, let me say that The Fab 5 are not your average Beatles tribute band – no costumes, no wigs (well, the bass player was sporting one) and they didn’t play just the most well-known Beatles songs. Musically, that was so nice and refreshing. This is a band that plays Beatles songs because they like, no, LOVE, Beatles songs – no gimmicks, no tricks – just pure, unadulterated fun."
