Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Liz played with her guitarist for our drinks reception at Northorpe Hall. What a lovely atmosphere it set for everyone there. The songs were perfect and the sound in the barn was great. Liz really did go out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us and we would have happily paid more than we did looking back. We had seen the full band and wanted to book them for the evening reception but they we're not available, gutted! Reviews go a long way these days and Liz deserves nothing but a glowing one as I could not fault anything at all. Such nice people to have as a part of the day. Highly recommended thank you to The Marvellous Motown Souls!"

"They were very friendly and approachable. They communicated well before the event, turned up at the right place and on time. They were absolutely excellent. " Somerset Soul and Rebecca performed at our wedding in December 2021 and they were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, their manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."

"Starbound performed at our wedding on 21st April and was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was electric with everyone on the dance floor, having the best time. We have received so many compliments about them and the songs they performed. They were professional, adjusting the set list on the night based on the time available and helping to coordinate the sparkler exit from our wedding. Would totally recommend them."
