"We booked blue jewel for a 70th birthday party. I cannot recommend them enough. They were professional when setting up, great musicians, motivated everyone to join in. They played 2 good length sets and everyone at the party commented on how good they were. If your looking for a ceilidh band who are professional and will provide a good evenings fun for your special occasion, book blue jewel. Thank you for making our party extra special."

"Dependable, adaptable and charming, these guys have been the life of two of our exclusive events, a studio lunch with internationally acclaimed artists Idris Khan and Annie Morris and a Surrealist brunch at Christie's auction house. I would recommend them to all. John, the lead, will listen to what you have in mind and fill the brief perfectly, taking all the necessary steps with the venue to ensure everything is as smooth as jazz on the day. "

"We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the 'oldies'!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely - friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend."

"Thank you Blue Jewel! We had had a fantastic wedding day which culminated in a ceilidh, not everyone's choice of course - until they experience the Blue Jewel phenomenon! You had to be very determined to NOT dance to avoid this. Kip is a brilliant caller - patient and knowledgeable. On the odd occasion when everyone was too tired to dance the band just played on anyway, the music was simply delightful in its own right. We are very lucky to have such a talented band in the west country, I would not hesitate to use these guys again- if you have an event coming up book them before they become world famous and never play locally again! Alice joined us on 6th January 2018 to sing during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and she was nothing short of outstanding. Alice sings beautifully and she was a pleasure to work with before the wedding in accommodating our song choices which we really appreciated. On the day of the wedding, everyone was blown away with how awesome he was, he sang a wide variety of songs and was a massive hit with everyone, he made our day more awesome than it already was, we would highly recommend him to anyone.
