"We had a fantastic time with the dance floor full. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The band were excellent and were very accommodating throughout the evening. They were patient and very encouraging in getting people to participate. Thank you very much for making my wife’s 50th birthday celebrations special!"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day."

"Somerset Soul were better than we could ever have imagined. They got everyone on the dance floor, dancing until our feet were hurting, all guests commented on how amazing the band were. Their song choices were perfect, Rebecca has a phenomenal voice and got the crowd going throughout. Thank you so so much for being part of our special day."

"We needed a to book a last-minute Bluegrass band for a country & western themed event for one of our clients. Lilac was accommodating and made sure the band and musicians were arranged and arrived in plenty time to allow for rehearsals. Bluegrass With Us performed well and included a line dance instructor. Overall we had a successful night and a satisfied client. I would recommend their services. Thank you again."

He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – James and May-Kate’s Wedding Ceilidh – April 2026 We enjoyed having Black Velvet at our wedding party to play two sets of Ceilidh dancing. The guests thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the music after being taught the dances. Even our four year niece joined in with some of the dancing! The band were prompt to set up and we enjoyed the live music. James Battle-Matthews"

"My new wife and I booked 106 miles to Chicago for our wedding. We were looking for a band with a set list of songs that people were going to know and dance to… and with 106 Miles to Chicago we got all that and more! Very professional, great interaction with the audience and a set list that kept us and our guests dancing and singing from the first song to the last. Andy finished off the evening with a DJ set that picked up exactly where the live performance finished, with everyone dancing and singing along until it was time to go home. 106 Miles to Chicago are excellent - They definitely helped make our day memorable. "We really wanted a folk style band with a saxophone player which believe it or not seems to be harder to find than you would think and then we found you guys and we are so thankful that we chose you! Your performance from start to finish and you were all so lovely to have at our wedding. Huge thanks to Billy for also singing our first dance – it’s a moment we will cherish"

"The Haystacks Band performed at our wedding party at The Pinkneys Arms in Pinkneys Green, and exceeded all expectations. Helpful, communicative, professional, talented, and above all fun! They have a great set list with a fantastic mix of classic and modern songs, but were also willing to adapt to our wishes - with a high proportion of cat lovers in the audience, their version of Smelly Cat (by Phoebe from Friends) went down especially well. They got everyone dancing, including me... and it's notoriously difficult to get me to dance! Brilliant feedback from all our friends too. Thanks so much Rachel & Haystacks Band for helping to make our party so enjoyable."
