"Many thanks to the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a fantastic 21st Birthday Ceilidh. The band provided a perfect balance for the young and young-at-heart, catering for everyone from the super-lively, to wheelchair-friendly dances, which was a lovely touch. Everyone had a great time."

"I have recently booked Sarah for an annual event for the second year and once again was very happy. Sarah is very easy to work with, both before and after the event, calm and professional, which made my job a lot easier. Sarah's voice has a lovely quality which provided a nice ambience as guests arrived and we received a lot of compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any kind of event and would definitely use her again."

"Hired these guys to perform their acoustic set for my husband's 40th Birthday. They were fantastic from start to finish, from enquiring if there was a specific song that my husband likes and performing it for him to having the entire audience including my 80 year old grandmother dancing and singing. Can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much Kelly and Graham."

"Please pass on my thanks and huge congratulations to the Black Velvet Band for making the evening one to remember! The members of the band were very friendly and excellent at leading the crowds all of various ages! It was a night to remember for all the right reasons and I have not smiled so much since my wedding day! The Swiss roll formation is genius and the children (and adults) are still wondering how it worked! We will most definitely be booking them again!"

"Absolutely stellar band! We booked Ceol Beag for our evening entertainment at our postgraduate research conference. We enquired about a month before (so pretty last minute!) and got a quick response with flexible availability. They showed up near an hour before they were due to start and were left to setup themselves while we managed the other side of the event. The band themselves are lovely people, and the caller helped motivate our attendees and direct them on what to do, which was a massive help considering we had a large number of international students in attendance. Everyone who attended loved the ceilidh and asked for another one next year. It was rated the best part of the event. Definitely recommend Ceol Beag!"

I asked you to perform for us after listening to you on your website but I have to say that actually hearing you sing live was so much better. Lovely music and beautiful voice. "I just have to share how incredible the Agra acoustic Duo are. From the moment they began singing, it was clear we were witnessing something really special. Their voices blended so effortlessly, full of emotion, power, and control — the kind of performance that gives you goosebumps and stays with you long after it ends. But what made the experience even more memorable was who they are as people. Warm, genuine, and so full of heart, they brought such a lovely energy that made everyone feel welcome and connected. Being asked to play for a wake is one of the greatest honours a musician can receive. But to be so welcomed and looked after on the day by such wonderful people is a true blessing. "Apologies for the delay in posting our review. We got married on June 23rd 2022 at a beautiful country Manor House in the Cotswolds and had Stargazers play at our evening reception and they were fantastic! They absolutely smashed it, the room was full of energy and the choice of music was perfect. Not to mention the fact that they are all brilliant musicians. Also, I think they’re quite unique with Phoebe as the vocalist, really sets them apart. Also, we were really happy dealing with Rhona, their manager, through the process, she was very understanding and knew exactly what we wanted, which she helped deliver! Thank you so much for making our wedding night such a party! I would highly recommend! Best wishes!"
