"Saw this duo play on Thursday in High Wycombe. Great Irish set for St Patrick's Day. The whole crowd were singing and banging the tables, and there was even some Irish dancing. Excellent guitarist and lovely singing. Danny boy brought a tear to my eye. Let us know when you are up this way next."

"The best birthday surprise possible! I knew my husband was going to organise something special as he always likes to go all our but this was the icing on the cake! The band even performed a special coldplay song at his request for me! I feel like a very lucky lady! "

"We had such a great time. Ned did a great job leading us in the dances. I should really say "exhausting us", but the number of people coming back for more showed how much they loved it. Each band-member is a fine musician in their own right but blended together they were fabulous. I would not hesitate to book them again."

"We have just come off Anthem and thought the band were brilliant with an amazing selection of songs for all tastes. We only managed to catch them a couple of times but both nights were some of our best on board, the effort that goes in to their performances was noticed! Thanks for helping to create some wonderful family memories."

" Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio performed at our Wedding reception. The music was fantastic and Alan the caller talked our guests through the dances with patience and wit. Our guests included some serious Scottish dancing enthusiasts together with a lot of enthusiastic amateurs, complete beginners and no hopers - all of whom had an absolute blast! We would highly recommend the band and a couple of our guests made enquiries about booking them for upcoming events, which speaks for itself. Thank you for providing us with fantastic memories filled with joy and laughter. "

"Jimmy Rae and Sarah performed for our fund raiser in December 2016 , they where superb , totally engaging with terrific vocals.They added so much to our events success , the feedback from all who attended was fantastic the blend of original songs and music was exactly what we needed to give all attendees a great time . "You will not regret booking It Takes 2 for your wedding party or other celebration. Kelly's communication was excellent from the start. The pair are highly professional and skilled musicians. Our guests were dancing from start to finish. We can't thank them enough for providing great entertainment for our wedding celebration!"
