"Dear Rachel, I am sorry that I did not get to meet, greet , say thank you and goodbye to the quartet. The beginning of the day did not quite go as planned which led to a follow on of change in plans. This left us somewhat disconcerted and by the time we got to the library I think the allocated time for yourselves had elapsed. The music upstairs was beautiful and the guests I spoke to after told me that the music that you kindly played downstairs was wonderful. Leah really loved her entrance music which meant a lot to her. "Hi Anne   Thank you very much, apologies for the delay in my reply, we have been in Barcelona for a few days!   We did have a wonderful day, I was sad not to have heard you all playing more (the perils of having photos taken!) however lots of people commented on how nice the selection of music was, and how lovely the playing was in general. "First of all we would like to say how impressed and moved we all were by Andrew and Philip's performance yesterday. Andrews voice is truly amazing and my Mum would have loved it. During the wake everyone was saying how wonderful it was and that no one really knew if it was correct or appropriate to clap. Please tell him that everyone wishes they had and wanted to! We would like to thank him for making the service so very special. "

"Dear Anne I think it was one of the most enjoyable concerts I can remember. Your orchestra is always good, which is why we've encouraged Patrick to book you and let you choose the players. We are certain to ask for your help in the future. At least 2 of our 4 MD candidates know you! I think the choir did especially well, partly raising its game for Patrick but also because the music was fairly straight forward, we felt confident and performed rather than just sang! Sarah Ann was a delight and our experiment using Conservatoire soloists is proving successful. Best wishes Alistair  "
