Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"My family have been following this band for over 20 years now. From the toe tapping faster tunes to the haunting ballads, I cannot rate this band highly enough. Everyone in the audience appears to be having a fantastic night with many people dancing. The band are very professional and friendly and seem to attract an audience that follows them all over the country year after year. Recently, they very kindly played for my mother in her own home ,when she was terminally ill. It proved a very memorable and moving day for her friends and family. I will always be grateful to them for this. My rating for this band is 100 out of 10!!!"

"Rag Tag Misfits played at my 60th birthday bash. Not only are they great musicians but their interaction with guests took the party to another level. Music, fun, and laughter, I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my special day. Thank you to Andy and Helly, you were truly amazing. "We are SO glad we booked sugar sweet duo for our wedding reception this weekend. They made every effort to make the day perfect for us including setting up slightly earlier then originally planned to have background music for our guests and even learned our wedding dance song to truly personalise the experience."

" I was lucky enough to hire Lauren during an annual fundraiser I organized for a nonprofit organization I work for. Lauren was absolutely amazing in every aspect. It was very easy to communicate with her prior to the event. Any request I had for her- she made it happen. She's a very talented and beautiful vocalist, as well as a professional and hard-working lady. All the feedback I got from all the guests was extremely positive as well. I will absolutely hire her again for any future events I'm going to plan."

"Cover Up are an excellent Covers duo; versatile, talented and experienced in equal measure. Paul (vocals) and Mike (guitars) bring energy and gusto to everything from the Kinks to the Stones with a well thought out set list that spans up to 5 decades. Always professional and always fun, they will make your event the best of the season. Once we no longer have to cover up - go and see Cover Up. "

"the Jelly Roll Jazz Band provided music for the wake after the funeral of my father. Their music was lively and engaging without being distracting, clearly audible without being too loud for a conversation focused event and GREAT FUN. They did exactly as they were asked - I can't comment on their capacity outside of this. Clearly that event will never recur, but I would be delighted to work with them again for another event"

"Tim is an absolutely amazing guitarist and singer. He made our night. His range of songs is so varied and his voice is fantastic. On top of this he is a genuinely lovely person to have at your party. Could not recommend him highly enough, he entertained our 40 guests all night through welcome drinks, dinner and then rocking on the dance floor, people were constantly asking where we found him. Will be booking Tim again and hope to see his band soon as well. Thank you Tim!!!!!"

"When planning our wedding it was important to me that our guests were entertained while we were having our photographs taken, and simply providing drinks and nibbles didn’t seem enough. However, it proved harder than I imagined to find exactly the right entertainment from the hundreds of musicians out there, that was until I stumbled across Acoustic Space. So many of our guests complimented us on our choice of this wonderful acoustic duo, who created the perfect ambience during our drinks reception, playing well known songs but in a softer, more captivating way. Just perfect."
