"We wanted something different this year for our staff, honestly a little apprehensive if a duo would suit, we were not disappointed, the guys were awesome, and hilarious, great voices with some friendly banter thrown in. "Kathryn and I hired Eccentric Pony’s full four-piece band to perform at our wedding. They were friendly and quick to respond to our questions and requests, including learning a new song for our first dance. Their impressive list of available songs took some time whittle down to make our set list! The band arrived on time, and set up discreetly while other events were going on. Their performances throughout the night were incredible, and our guests were highly complementary – they even chanted for an unplanned encore, which they graciously performed. At the end of the night, the band packed up cleanly and without any hassle. Eccentric Pony have been a pleasure to work with from start to end, and we will certainly be keeping them in mind when we need a band in the future."

"Everyone remarked on how good they were. They played at just the right volume and added to the sense of occasion for the two parties we held in a marquee. Paul and his colleague are very competent and versatile musicians and both very pleasant individuals who arrived early and played beautifully."

"Kirsty was an excellent addition to our wedding day. She was super friendly and professional leading up to the event, and gave us an opportunity to dive into what music we’d like, as well as other finer details such as first dance, and closing tracks. On the day, Kirsty’s setup was seamless and prompt; and her DJ set was entirely in line with what we outlined in a previous chat. She adapted the music expertly according to who was on the dance floor. She was super friendly to all of our guests, and even reacted very calmly and professionally when a guest accidentally pulled the plug on her kit! We couldn’t be happier with Kirsty’s performance, thank you for making our day extra special!"

"I would thoroughly recommend Lazy Marmalade to anyone having a party/wedding/celebration. Our usual band were already booked for the date that we needed and recommended them – we have not been disappointed. We booked them for a company party at Duxford Imperial War Museum and they were fantastic – had us up dancing all night with live music and DJing. It was a great mix of music that was enjoyed by all. They were very amenable, didn’t mind our Singing waiters using their equipment and liaised direct with the venue and our entertainers to make sure that the evening went smoothly. Thank you so my Alex & Jon for helping to make our party so special!"

""Thank you to Helen and the Band for being part of our magical day. They really helped make it perfect. There was great communication before the day and the band’s repertoire is amazing. We made a few tweeks to the set list they proposed just to keep all the family happy! The day itself, the band arrived with plenty of time and although we had a small space, discreetly set up. When the music started it brought guests in to listen and dance even on a hot day! The atmosphere was great and they are really talented musicians. As I speak to friends and family after our wedding there are so many comments on how great the band was and considering some of them are in bands themselves this is a great compliment. Once again thank you so much for making the evening part of the wedding so much fun - I really am trying to plan another party where the band can play again!! "
