"My family and I had the pleasure of this lovely duo, at my cousin's (The Longfields) wedding, on a beautiful sunny day in Southport. The fantastic choices of songs and the interaction of The 'Misfits' with the guests (including the wonderful idea of instruments for the children), helped to make this one of my most treasured family days. I would recommend The Ragtag Misfits to anyone, who wants make their event a really nice place to be. Geoff"

The impressive range of songs you played was perfect and much appreciated by all of us - including some much younger than 70! - as we danced and sang along. The guests absolutely loved the dj/percussion combo and are all still talking about it! Mitch brought such fun and energy to the evening and it exceeded our expectations in every way! He was so personable and patient with alcohol-fuelled guests and we honestly couldn’t have hoped for anyone better! "We had a small party with about 45 family and friends in an intimate Sheffield venue last weekend (November 2024) and Max provided the music and songs for us. All I can say is Max, you are a supremely talented young man. Your multi instrumental versions of classic new and old chart hits kept us entertained all evening and had us all up dancing and having a great time. You catered for our entire age range from the mid 20-something year olds through to those of us more familiar with partying back in the 1980s and 1990s and we all enjoyed it immensely. Topping it all off with a couple of Christmas chart smashes at the end was a really great finish which everyone loved. Thank you for a fantastic evening Max, you are a legend !!! Thank you also to Sarah-Jane and all of the Team at Last Minute Musicians, not only for securing our booking with Max, but for your impeccable service. You kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure everything was just how we wanted it to be, all culminating in a great evenings entertainment. Thank you to you all !!"

"When my mum passed away I knew I'd need live Irish music at the church and later at the wake. I came across Kindred Spirit duo on this site . They could not have been more perfect. Elaine on vocals and guitar was excellent and Martin on fiddle was outstanding, too. Their music was acoustic in the church when they played Lord of the Dance. It was exactly what I'd hoped for. At the venue they played a great variety of songs, including traditional and more modern, for example, The Corrs. The guests enjoyed their music and many guests took their details to book them for future events. They definitely made my mum's wake extra special - and memorable. Kindred Spirit Duo are friendly, eminently professional and very talented. In addition, they were very sensitive to the occasion. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Elaine and Martin!"
