"Craxton Strings were a fabulous addition to our wedding day. We booked the quartet only 10 days before our wedding and despite this the process was very easy. The group has a fabulous musical repertoire, all of which can be listened to online, and allows you to fully customise your music selection, a process we greatly enjoyed. On the day the group were very flexible, due to the weather they had to play inside and over the noise of 200 guests, not an easy task, however they remained professional throughout and received a great number of compliments from our guests. We would not hesitate to book them again. "

"We are so incredibly grateful for how fantastic Mitch was performing DJ/percussion at our wedding evening. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to kick the party off! The guests absolutely loved the dj/percussion combo and are all still talking about it! Mitch brought such fun and energy to the evening and it exceeded our expectations in every way! He was so personable and patient with alcohol-fuelled guests and we honestly couldn’t have hoped for anyone better! Mitch is fabulously talented and we hope we have an occasion where we can have him join us again! I would 100% recommend, fantastic service from the initial enquiry through to the big day. "We were incredibly lucky to have Victoria perform at our wedding at Frickley Lake on 4th July, and we honestly couldn't have wished for anyone better. Victoria played during our drinks reception immediately after the ceremony, while our guests mingled by the lake with a glass of bubbly in hand. It created the most magical atmosphere. Her beautiful voice drifted across the water, and it was exactly the elegant, relaxed vibe we had dreamed of for our wedding. Her style is the perfect blend of modern songs with a classy vintage twist. It felt timeless, sophisticated and completely unique. So many of our guests have commented since the wedding on just how incredible she was and how much they loved listening to her. From our very first conversation, Victoria was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was warm, professional, responsive and made everything so easy in the run-up to the day. On the day itself, she was calm, organised and completely effortless - allowing us to simply enjoy every moment. Victoria didn't just provide music; she added a real sense of elegance and occasion to our wedding. It was one of those details that elevated the whole experience, and we're so grateful she was part of our day. She gave a dream performance and is a thoroughly lovely person. We genuinely can't thank her enough and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for something truly special. If you're considering booking Victoria, do it. "I liked the fact that when booking it was 'relaxed' in that it was not too rigid with the timing. Unfortunate that Hannah was sick but this made no difference to my party as Sarah -Jane stepped in. Again flexibility (on both sides) resulted in a great performance - we received lots of compliments only downside was that we were unable to listen as much as we would have liked to .... There's always a next time. ..... We and especially our guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance - very happy to recommend . Ann & Antonio"

"Thank you and the band for great music which made the whole evening quite special. All the ages enjoyed themselves and in particular the younger people who had never attended a ceilidh before and had such a good evening. So many people commented on what an inclusive evening it was for all ages. Lots of great memories "

"Lewis and Annalise (playing as Fortinalo) are superb musicians and lovely people. Lewis was very helpful in the run up to the wedding and replied to emails etc promptly. My only regret was that as the groom I could not just sit and listen properly to all their excellent performances! ! They played three sets consistently to a very high standard. A most enjoyable and joyful day. Thank you both very much indeed. "

"Once again thank you so much for making our day so special with your beautiful singing. Alice joined us on 6th January 2018 to sing during our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and she was nothing short of outstanding. Alice sings beautifully and she was a pleasure to work with before the wedding in accommodating our song choices which we really appreciated. "Throughout the night, a local jazz pianist Elliot treated us to a variety of classics that added to the ever growing ’20s feel. Our scenario felt like something out of a movie, and Elliott made my guest and I feel like the only two people in the room – especially when he sang ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ to me. Swoon."

"These guys are absolutely amazing!! Andy and Chris performed at my Chicago Blues evening on 30 April and not a person was left sitting for the majority of the night. The music they performed, the way they interacted with the audience and the professionalism of these two is second to none. I would most definitely book them again with no hesitation and wish I could do a Blues Brothers night every month! If you're looking for this kind of act, then I really don't think you'd find much better than 106 Miles to Chicago."
