"The Petford Duo performed at my fashion textile showcase. They created the perfect atmosphere for my event with a blend of light classical music as well as pop songs that made my showcase a day to remember, receiving much praise from those who visited! Thanks once again -highly recommended! "

Although I missed the majority of you playing before the ceremony (sorry for being so late!!) we have had lots of guests saying how fantastic you were. "Hi Anne, Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the quartet and also the person who was responsible for the amazing arrangements you played. They were very elegantly put together and none of the pop songs sounded forced or out of place despite the drastic change of instrumentation! In fact i'd say some of them soudned better this way. We particularly enjoyed the foo fighters arrangements, and I saw a number of guests singing along and conducting their way through Nessun Dorma. Sarah and I we're running around a lot but whenever we stopped to listen we loved what we heard. We didn't hear a note out of place and the intonation between you all was of the best we've heard from a quartet. It is obvious that you all take a lot of pride in what you do, the years of experience show. I know our guests were also very complimentary about it and we will happily recommend you to anyone who asks. It was worth every penny. Thank you once again, the music was beautiful! "Dear Rachel, I am sorry that I did not get to meet, greet , say thank you and goodbye to the quartet. The beginning of the day did not quite go as planned which led to a follow on of change in plans. This left us somewhat disconcerted and by the time we got to the library I think the allocated time for yourselves had elapsed. The music upstairs was beautiful and the guests I spoke to after told me that the music that you kindly played downstairs was wonderful. Leah really loved her entrance music which meant a lot to her. "Excellent! From start (initial contact and enquiry), to finish (performance), Modern Strings were a pleasure to work with. Sophie was very helpful and accomodating, she also offered a very competitive package, advising what would work in an honest way. She was always prompt with communications, and helped where she could. The team were punctual on the day, and played amazingly, guests loved it! Thanks to the team!"
