"We had the London String Trio perform at our wedding / reception and we could not have been happier; at every stage of the wedding they played beautifully. They also showed great professionalism in liaising with the venue staff when moving between different locations and also when a brief spell of rain held up proceedings. As the groom I’m only sorry I couldn’t have spent more time focused on listening to them play! Thank you again for a fabulous performance."

I just wished I could have stood and listened to you a bit more instead of having to chat and have my picture taken! "Element were a dream to work with for my father's surprise 60th. I chose them because of the repertoire and yet when I requested a song that was not on the song list they were quick to put it together just for our event. On the night, they slipped in amidst the chaos of 120 people, they prepared and were ready to play. The schedule had to be changed a few times on the night and they were flexible and professional throughout...and then they played. It was beautiful. One of my Uncles stood up involuntarily during Nessun Dorma to look closer and my father repeatedly leant over the dinner table to remark on how wonderfully they played. I could not recommend the Element string Quartet highly enough, but I will certainly try! 6th December 2017"

"I’m only just getting around to saying our thank yous and I wanted to say a big one to you and the rest of the EM strings squad on the day! The music was wonderful - I’m only seeing snippets of it now on our guests’ videos from the ceremony and it sounds absolutely beautiful! Thank you for coping in the 34degree heat and putting on a beautiful show for our guests to enjoy. "I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event. "

"The quartet played beautifully at our wedding at the Manchester Art Gallery. They are a group of experienced musicians that sounded great on the day. We couldn’t recommend them enough. They were extremely professional and even learned a new song for us (which sounded amazing)! We couldn’t ask for a more perfect group of musicians for our wedding day"
