"I can't recommend this band enough. Whether they are playing background music during dinner or playing some more upbeat music to get people dancing a little later on, they always do a great job. Extremely punctual and make our lives as easy as possible, we know once they are committed to the event that we can rely on them to turn up and sort themselves out. Looking forward to having them back!"

"We were truly amazed by the wonderful performance Laura and her fantastic pianist put on for our private event. Booking was super easy - we had a call to discuss some must-haves which Laura kindly included, and Laura also very kindly noted all the anecdotal detail I shared and built this into the performance, making it feel so special and thoughtful. They arrived perfectly on time to set up, were super professional yet approachable, and thankfully were able to extend the booking because we were not ready for them to leave! Laura’s voice is truly captivating and magical, and I am certain that we will have her singing at one of our events in the future. Thank you for setting the tone for our evening, and providing the most delightful and inspiring backdrop to the event."

"We found Soul Of The Party back in 2019 when we first started planning our wedding and they played for us (finally!) three weeks ago! Best decision we made. The whole process of booking, planning and then changing (thanks COVID!) was made easy and pleasant by Richard who was great with communicating, flexible and friendly. The band learnt our wedding song which we obviously adored, but every song had our guests up and dancing for the entire night. In fact, the dancing started for the sound check which our guests were gutted about when it turned out they weren’t starting yet! Ha! We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Soul Of The Party for any kind of occasion and know that the next event we have, we will be making sure to book them again."

"When tasked with the job to book a band for our Summer Ball on Weston-super-Mare pier, I knew Shakers Gold would be perfect and booked them without hesitation. They played at our Wedding last year & went down a storm. If you're looking for a great band who are professional & sound amazing then look no further! "Just to give a huge thanks to you all for the terrific entertainment on Saturday. We had a marvelous time and loved the music and dancing and diplomatic caller. I hadn't seen my brother dance for at least thirty years and more than one wife was surprised to see her "no dancing" husband enjoying himself on the dance floor. "
