Review Centre: Duos / Small Groups

"Unwritten Duo performed at our wedding at The Granary Wedding Barn in March, she showed up smartly dressed and on time. She was booked to sing our first dance song and perform for 45 mintutes afterwards before the DJ took over. She sang Loving You by Minnie Riperton while we shared our first dance and it sounded absolutely incredible. She has such a stunning voice, so much better than we expected. We were all mesmerised by her throughout and thoroughly enjoyed her set. I wasn't sure what songs to pick but she chose a nice variety of tracks which everyone enjoyed. She sang for over an hour because we enjoyed it so much but she didn't mind at all and didn't try to charge any extra. Several friends of mine have booked her for their upcoming weddings/parties too. I highly recommend Joanne, she is Superb artist!"

"I booked The Jive Trio to play at my husband’s 40th birthday party at our home. The trio played beautifully, they are a talented group of guys! The live acoustic music created a wonderful atmosphere on the day. The band were organised, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Jive Trio for an event."

"We would like to thank Rory for performing at our wedding, he was fantastic. We didn't need to do anything on the day, he was ready and waiting to start when we arrived at the drinks reception. A lot of our guests have commented on how amazing he was. As the bride and groom we didn't get a lot of time to thank him for his services but they were greatly appreciated and would definitely recommend him to anyone!"

"Monica was outstanding and very professional. From speaking with us prior to the event to learn the kind of music we wanted to arriving in plenty of time knowing that we would be busy as the event started. In terms of performance, this was also brilliant. She engaged with the crowd and got them up and dancing which was the first time this had happened in our bar since the Covid pandemic. We would highly recommend her and will be welcoming her back to The Bar very soon thats for sure "

"Wow, wow, wow! My father in law booked Dahlia Music for our wedding reception as a last minute booking as we'd be previously let down. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing they were. They played 'A thousand years' as I walked down the isle. The music was so beautiful as soon as I heard it I was in tears. They made our ceremony so special. They also played after the wedding whilst we were waiting for the room to be changed over. All our guests said how amazing they were. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!"

"The guys played a great set for the first hour of the Evening Do at our wedding last week. They were absolutely brilliant and kept the dancefloor packed for the full set. Phil is really easy to deal with, and very flexible, learning 3 new songs specifically for us, including a brilliant performance for our first dance song. couldnt recommend them highly enough! "Jaya and Sarah, we can’t thank you enough for playing for us at our wedding in Jersey. The music was outstanding, and loved by all our guests. Many commented on the wide range of your repertoire and the incredible arrangements. You made the day really special. From playing on the terrace (hope it wasn’t too hot!), the beautiful music during the ceremony and throughout the wedding breakfast, the wonderful music created a warm, relaxed ambience. To anyone considering Jaya and Sarah, the Chapel Hill Duo, for any event, including a wedding- do not hesitate for a moment. They play to an incredibly high standard, with a wide range of styles from classical, pop, film themes and folk. And play all of these styles equally well. They are two extremely nice, friendly people and a complete pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend the Chapel Hill Duo highly enough.
