"I just wanted to express our thanks for playing at our wedding reception on Friday. We loved the mix of traditional ceilidh and ceilidh covers you played, as well as the 80s music. Thanks too for joining in with our guests and taking time to speak to the children - it was much appreciated and made everyone feel part of the evening. "We auditioned quite a few musicians online before choosing the Tzigauners We love gypsy jazz especially the original ‘Hot Club’ numbers From the outset Richard was brilliant. He spoke with my husband to ensure the repertoire was to his satisfaction & all other information about payment etc was clear & concise We were kept fully apprised without being bombarded On the actual day they arrived promptly & set up unobtrusively whilst all the other preps were going on around them Then the important bit - the music ? ? They are all brilliant musicians & read the tone of the party perfectly So many positive comments from our guests across all age groups It really added a great vibe to the whole event Great musicians & great attitude. … now that’s a rarity in my experience! So good in fact that my daughter wants to use them again for her upcoming wedding … now there’s a recommendation! Thanks SO much Tzigauners for helping to make it such a memorable day for us ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

"Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. Morag, once again, many thanks for helping to make Gill and Jamie’s wedding such a huge success. Best wishes for the continuing success of Scotland Strings and the enjoyment that goes with it."

"I first saw Simone sing at a busy wine bar one Saturday night and was incredibly impressed by her voice and performance in such a crowded bar. I saw her again a few weeks later and I can honestly say she's the best live singer I've ever seen. I was so impressed I booked her to sing at my birthday party in Edinburgh later on that year. She's a wonderful artist and entertained the crowd throughout the night and got everyone up dancing. Very professional and experienced with a beautiful soulful voice and she knows exactly what music to play between sets to keep the party going. She's so good in fact I've just booked her for my wedding next year and can't wait to hear her sing again. Highly recommend Simone for a really special voice and performance."

"I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed Shaun & Carrie. Shaun & Carrie got everyone on their feet the moment they started to sing. Their repertoire of songs from the '60's right through to modern day was brilliant. They provided us with a much needed boost and lots of cheer during these difficult times (Covid 19). I have no hesitation in recommending them and we most certainly will be inviting them back to perform at future events."

"Chris and Kim of The Sunset Duo brought some incredible music and energy to our pub’s community night! Playing music from across the decades and a little something for everyone, there wasn’t a single person in attendance who didn’t enjoy both sets. In fact, when they took a break, I had several people asking me when they were going to start playing again! There wasn’t much room for dancing, as the pub was very full, but it was clear from the bouncing heads and swaying bodies, that people felt compelled to. The duo effortlessly connected with their audience and kept the energy up throughout the evening. I’m looking forward to having them perform in the pub again soon, as I know they will deliver the same level of fun and professionalism to each performance.
