"We were really pleased that we had booked the Black Velvet band for a ceilidh at our daughter’s wedding at Old Down Manor. Before the event they spoke to our daughter and planned with her exactly what she would like from them, the type of music and how they would organise the evening so that she and her new husband could be ‘danced out’ at the end. On the day the band arrived in good time with all the appropriate equipment for the location. The performance was very professional, the music great and they got all the guests dancing along. The caller’s instructions were clear. So overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them."

"Unbelievably big thanks to what you put on for us! It delivered on all fronts!! The sax to start things off was absolutely incredible - exactly the vibe we were after. Then Remko was a hero in sorting the music to walk in on and the music during the breakfast! But the band, boy oh boy did they steal the show - I lost track of the number of comments from our guests on how good you guys were! The bits where you came out into the crowd and got stuck in were epic. We knew you’d be good but you surpassed all expectations!! We can’t thank you enough and will recommend to all our friends! "

"We first saw It Takes Two in September 2023 and were immediately blown away with their act. On a cruise ship, with a long itinerary, you would imagine the same songs would keep reappearing but, no, not a bit of it! We were treated to a huge variety of different genres, from 50s through to current day songs, Irish nights, Abba nights, Rock and Roll and even a set by Graham showing off his immensely impressive guitar skills. I’ve never seen Kelly without a smile on her face, giggling along. She is such an upbeat and brilliant singer! It soon became very hard to get a seat when they were performing every night. They filled the floor! If you are looking for a band to perform at any function, they will never disappoint. Just remember to invite me along too! "

"Mark played at our party in Wiltshire on August bank holiday Sunday afternoon. He was an absolute success. He arrived, he tuned up and he got on with it in an easy going and charming way. Everyone danced, everyone sang and EVERYONE shouted for more. I'd have no problem recommending Mark highly he really did make the party special. We would have him again anytime."

"This group totally made our evenings watching them play live. My husband was mesmerised by the grahams guitar playing and I loved Kelly’s singing - all genres from old 50’s to present day hits. They were friendly, had great banter with the audience and made you feel like they were playing just for you. Everyone loved them so if you’re trying to please a crowd or want something more intimate - book them, you won’t be disappointed."

"ust wanted to say thank you so much for the music, fun and sheer merriment you provided on Saturday. It was an absolutely cracking party, everyone had a blast and my parents loved every minute! Your music was perfect, you had everyone up singing and got everyone in the party spirit. Everyone has been passing on their thanks and regards, so just wanted to say thank you for making the party such a special and memorable occasion. "From start to finish I found Last minute musicians very professional and very fast with answers to queries. I had my wedding on 21/09 and The lost performed for us, all of us at the event were highly impressed with the quality of their performance and they very kindly learnt a song for us for our first dance. Additionally they were always punctual in responding to all questions and on the day did everything the could do to make their role seamless and stress free for our day. I can not recommend these lads enough."

"Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night. "I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys.
