"The band were great and I would book them again without hesitation. They managed to juggle the music preferences of the guest and reacting to the audience perfectly. Including some group dancing was genius and one of my favourite parts of the night. It was a great way for guests to interact and encourage some mixing and mingling. Professional set up. Loved it. Thank you."

"Amazing live set, played all our favourite songs! Such a lovely voice and a lovely chap on top of that. Ended our special day with his DJ set and had to whole room on their feet til the very end!"

" We hired the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a party, and we could not have been happier with their performance. The band’s admin team reached out prior to the event to make arrangements, and communication was maintained throughout. Set up was quick and efficient in the background of our event, and before we knew it, we were forming lines for our first Ceilidh. It was a mixed group in terms of experience, but Phil delivered clear instructions prior to each dance, and everyone quickly picked it up. The trio are all exceptionally skilled musicians, and the music throughout the dancing was fantastic. We booked two hours of dancing and found that to be the perfect amount of time post-dinner. Black Velvet Band created a fun and lively atmosphere at our event and the Ceilidh dancing was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be in contact with the band for future events and would recommend them to all."

"Speechless - and that's not like me. The band were fantastic - they are the best of the best, on a par with The Dubliners. Absolutely made our evening, this will be the first band we look to for all our future events without a doubt. The Caller was great fun, all of them were a compliment to each other. "The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks. "

"Unbelievably big thanks to what you put on for us! It delivered on all fronts!! The sax to start things off was absolutely incredible - exactly the vibe we were after. Then Remko was a hero in sorting the music to walk in on and the music during the breakfast! But the band, boy oh boy did they steal the show - I lost track of the number of comments from our guests on how good you guys were! The bits where you came out into the crowd and got stuck in were epic. We knew you’d be good but you surpassed all expectations!! We can’t thank you enough and will recommend to all our friends! "

"Played at our wedding in Somerset at the end of October and we cannot recommend them highly enough! They got everyone up on their feet and all our guests enjoyed dancing, clapping and tapping along! A very talented group of musicians and a must see! Thank you all so much x"
