"Hello Absolute! We just wanted to say thanks to the band for performing at our wedding recently. We had seen you before so knew that you were a great band and our guests seemed very impressed. The rendition of our first dance song (You are the Best Thing by Ray Lamontagne) was perfect, so thank you very much for that! We hope the evening went smoothly for you, and thanks for allowing my friend to take the mic to sing some swing numbers (though it's hard to stop him). Thanks once again. "Party Sounds thoroughly entertained us at our wedding in September. Mark and the other band members read our audience really well and we don't think the dance floor was ever empty!! Highly recommended and we know that they would have picked up some future customers from our wedding guests. Extremely approachable, punctual and down to earth, if we could have our wedding day again they would be there without a doubt!! "This is the second time we have booked the Black Velvet Band for our summer ceilidh, and it was such fun! The band ran two different dancing sessions for our international students and were very patient with explaining the dances and encouraging all students to participate. The music was brilliant and energetic, and all three band members were so kind and even paused for a photoshoot with the students. We are looking forward to next summer already. I’d absolutely recommend them for any event/party/celebration!"

"Hi Kelly-Ann & Graham , On behalf of Swansea 41 Club, I would like to thank you both for your performance last night. I have had numerous calls already from members and guests , remarking on how good and more importantly, how flexible you were in relation to the trying conditions of the weather. I am sure that either myself or future organisers will be in touch with more bookings. I did note that towards the end of the evening, we could have done with a larger dance floor. "I've had the tremendous good fortune to have been asked to call ceilidh dances with Kellys on numerous occasions. It's never difficult to get people up on the dance floor once Helen kicks off on the accordion, and when Steve's driving rhythm guitar comes in, coupled with Tony's pounding bodhran, the only 'problem' is getting people to sit down and have a breather between dances! And when you get Simon and John bumping it up to a 5-piece with fiddle and banjo (plus various pipes and whistles) well, all I can say is "Hold on to your socks!""

"Funk With Us providing the band, DJ and PA for our wedding on the 9th October 2021. And they were absolutely amazing. In the lead up to the event, their diligence and patience in helping sort out some issues around sound levels at the venue went way above and beyond what we'd initially agreed with them. They friendly, highly personal service and wish to really understand what we wanted for the day meant we felt really positive and confident going into the day. On the day itself, they were amazing with the band being great fun, really getting involved and making sure the dance floor was both packed and super fun. We would absolutely recommended everytime, these guys are amazing. 12/10."
