Just reporting in to say a massive big fat thank you to Partydown - Oh My Lord, they were absolutely sensational, everybody and I mean EVERYBODY has said how totally fantastic they were. The boys are brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate in booking them again, total quality, there was no-one sat down! "

"I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys. "We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. You were absolutely brilliant!! You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. Also – thank you so much for all your help before the wedding – I’m notoriously bad at returning phone calls and you were fantastic at staying in touch and keeping on top of communication – I really appreciated that."

"Dermot played yesterday at the funeral of my mother-in-law, who was an Irish historian, and was sensational. Sensitive, thoughtful, joyful and deeply moving. It was, as they say, exactly what she would have wanted, and was greatly appreciated by everyone there. Thank you!"

"Sorry for the delay in writing, but i would like to say a massive THANK YOU for recommending 'Party Sounds' and arranging for them to play at our Silver Wedding Celebrations. They were everything I had hoped they would be, and more. I was impressed that Mark took the time and trouble to keep in touch with me by telephone rather than by email (which can get a bit messy) and to discuss our likes and dislikes about the music for the evening. They arrived on time at the golf club and we just left the rest to them. It was lovely to be able to put trust in their professionalism and knowledge of their clients preferences to play all evening. We had kept it a closely guarded secret from our guests that we were having a band, and they were really impressed and pleased with what they saw and heard. My one regret is that I was mixing and talking with our guests so much that I didn't really get to fully appreciate the band as I would if I were a guest at someone else's party! I am trying to talk my friends into doing the same, so that I can listen to them again. However, whenever I did draw breath, the sound was exactly like they were playing a CD version of the song - I had to keep checking that it was actually Mark and his colleagues who were really singing - and, oh boy , it most definitely was!! So thank you once again, and please feel free to use my words as recommendation to others. 'Party Sounds' would definitely be my first choice of music for any events in the future. I don't even think I would consider hiring a DJ ever again :)"

"Absolute brought their acoustic roaming band to play our wedding reception at Cain Manor and did not disappoint. They created an amazing atmosphere outside before and after the ceremony. They also played my wife walking down the aisle which really added to the emotion. I'm sure they would also make an awesome evening band now dancing is allowed again! "Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Lilac did a solo set which was wonderful and the band kept the dance floor going followed with Remko keeping the floor fillers with his awesome DJ skills. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Thank you guys ?"

"Absolute band played at our civil partnership party and really brought a lively atmosphere! We all enjoyed the mix of traditional Irish tunes and classic hits, and they played songs to get people up and dancing. Particularly special was they learned specific songs for me to sing with them (as a surprise for my partner), and helped me with the singing which was much appreciated. They also played songs from their set list that we requested, which was great. The band members were really friendly and great to chat to. Thanks so much! Ro & Tom, Wedding in Bath – 9th July 2022 "

All our guests commented on what a brilliant singer he was and he created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding, very chilled and laid back. We couldnt have been happier! "Ruby only went and did it! Held an incredible night in aid of The Brain Tumour Charity and in memory of her dear friend, Brian Travers. A whopping £1127.15 was raised and a fab time was had by all! Thank you all so much for not only raising such amazing funds but raising such vital awareness."
