Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"We knew we wanted a band for our wedding, and found the Hot Hats by chance via a google search - after watching their YouTube previews we were suitably impressed and got in touch with Alfie who was incredibly helpful. In the run up to the wedding he asked us to provide a list of our favourite tracks and bands for the DJ playlist in between live sets, including our choice of first dance. On the day they arrived in plenty of time, set up without fuss and got the evening well under way, worked with us to ensure the timing of our first dance was when we wanted and interacted well with the guests to ensure the dance floor was full all night. They remembered small details like Queen being my favourite band and included a track in their set which was a nice touch. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"Ella exceeded expectations. Very professional and personable. Ella had a lot of fans in the room by the end of her set and we could have quite easily enjoyed more than the 2 hours. Brilliant vocalist, song choices and medley's. It was perfect for the occasion. Will look to book again."

"Gloria and Patrick were absolutely amazing at our weekly live music night. I had heard great things online, but nothing prepared us for just how great they actually are! Gloria's voice is incredible and Patrick's guitar skills meant the duo went down an absolute storm! They will definitely be a resident act at The Shurlock Inn AND at our sister pub The Plough from now on! 10 out of 10! "

"A huge, huge thank you to Tim, Kelly, Tracy and Aimi. The choir really made the day extra special and we couldn't recommend having them enough. We listened to the website video's everyday all the way up to our special day but words just can not describe how they were on the day. You exceeded all expectation and made our day even more special. You managed to bring tears to the eyes of many grown men! "​We booked Juniper for a Burns Night Event at our restaurant. Juniper were so easy going and provided exactly what we wanted & more! The back ground music as diners arrived was perfect and created a great atmosphere. The second set was amazing and got everyone on their feet to finish off a superb evening. We really wouldn’t hesitate recommending these guys & can’t wait to have them back"

"I hired The Romantics to play at my wedding last year - They were amazing and got everyone (which was a fairly international crowd) on the dancefloor in no time! We picked our songs and they came up with the rest. They were also really friendly and smiley with all of our guests - I highly recommend these guys."

"Thank you for visiting Redhill Town centre today, I'm so pleased to have heard your amazing voice from a distance to draw me in close to watch you/listen to you, and had to leave the wife to continue shopping while I watched. I brought your CD and really look forward to watching your FB page more updates. I'm a DJ of over 41 years (started in Redhill and traveled far) and only two or three times in that times have I been stopped by sounds (by choice) in the street by buskers. London, Sydney (Sandel the singer who went on try in USA with some success) and now here in my home town, you. I wish you the success you wish for yourself. Keep believing!"

"We recently had Tim Barton play at our wedding and could not recommend him highly enough. He is friendly, professional, an amazing performer and nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests have complimented us on our choice of artist and we believe he was an integral part of creating a great atmosphere and vibe. During the welcome drinks he had the chilled and relaxed vibe we wanted and later on he had the whole place singing along with him. Tim even played an extra hour; when I offered him some more money he just said he was having a great time and was happy to do it."
