"Henson's Hot Club were really good with communication ahead of confirming a booking and in the lead up to our wedding, were prompt and ready to go (and looking the part!) on the day, and provided absolutely wonderful music which was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all. I'd thoroughly recommend them and I'm hugely grateful for their part in creating a really memorable occasion. Thanks Henson's Hot Club!"

"Lewis and Annalise (playing as Fortinalo) are superb musicians and lovely people. Lewis was very helpful in the run up to the wedding and replied to emails etc promptly. My only regret was that as the groom I could not just sit and listen properly to all their excellent performances! ! They played three sets consistently to a very high standard. A most enjoyable and joyful day. Thank you both very much indeed. "

"Wow! What an evening we had! We absolutely LOVED our wedding evening and you absolutely made the night! We LOVED the dances, and so did all our guests. I couldn’t get over how good you all were! Thank you SO much for being such an excellent band, to plan with before our wedding and to perform on the night. We’ve attached some photos, which we hope you like too! "The perfect band for a party. Kemptown Hot Club performed at my leaving party at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University, when I retired as President. I think almost every guest complimented me on the music. Beautiful vocals and a wonderful swing sound of the 1920s to 1940s. Kemptown Hot Club helped to create a relaxing vibe to the party while ensuring they never drowned out the conversation."

"Oh what a night it was! Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio was the perfect choice for a celebration. They chose dances that matched the skill and enthusiasm of my guests. Setting the right pace is good when lots of guests belong to a running club! Guests from Hong Kong, Greece, Vietnam China and USA had no idea what they were coming to … The band arrived on time, setting up easily and Phil’s friendly manner of instruction was just right. My 6 year old niece (who is VERY shy) shocked her mother by joining the dancing! Lovely comments from guests: “I haven’t danced like that in years” and ” The most fun and dis-organised chaos I’ve had in ages!”"

" Black Velvet Band Irish Duo came to play at the Christmas Party for our CrossFit Gym held in the farmhouse on the site; they were easy and helpful to deal with from the start; everything clear and simple to follow. The performance was perfect for the occasion and Mike and his colleague were easy going and a pleasure to have around. They spent time with a guest who wanted to learn how to play one of the instruments and were great for getting people up and dancing. Thoroughly recommend the Irish Duo! "

"We booked Fann Street Hot Club after hearing them play in London. Booking them was probably one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! As Jan knows, so many of our other plans fell through, the worst of which being we suddenly had to change the venue!! But the band fit in seamlessly with all the chaos, and were absolutely wonderful. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they did to help make our wedding day the best day of our lives. We would highly recommend Fann Street Hot Club to anyone, without hesitation.
