"Jonny played at our Junior Lawyer Parisian themed ball. Everyone was delighted with Jonny's music and he really made it a special evening. I would highly recommend this talented musician to anyone looking to add a touch of class to an evening or for adding a different touch to an event."

"Black Velvet ceilidh band played at my daughter’s wedding on Saturday. Please let them know how excellent they were, and the evening was a great success greatly helped by the excellent calling, music and dancing. I have had lots of good comments from guests and would recommend them to anybody."

"My wife and I heard The Full Beans at a friend’s wedding and felt they would be perfect for my Oktoberfest themed 30th birthday. They did not disappoint and were arguably even better than we remember. The two sets they played went down and absolute treat, the songs they played were a brilliant take on the originals, that got everyone up dancing and singing along, there were definitely no shortage of people on the dance floor. Jake, who helped organise, was really helpful and was always quick to respond to my emails. I would happily recommend them to anyone who wants a really good knees up! Thanks again, was cracking!"

"I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how fantastic the band were at our wedding at Christmas. They 'read the room' perfectly, and delivered an excellent performance that created a great atmosphere and got the room dancing! Their unique style of delivering well known songs with a gypsy / folk twist was really well received as they didn't try to replicate the song exactly- making them less of a cover band which was just what we wanted. They were also super easy to work with and really relaxed on the day. The fact they also learnt a new song for our first dance was really special! I would not hesitate to recommend them! "

"A big thanks to Mike and the rest of the band for a brilliant evening. Everyone has said how much they thoroughly enjoyed it. A special thank you to Alan, the dance caller. He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. "Superb musicians! Very atmospheric music which is great as background music but equally (in our case) suited to getting everyone whirling around on the dance floor with fast paced gypsy jazz numbers! Really made my party go with a swing and I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Thank you so much."
