" The band was MAGNIFICENT! Such talented musicians and a unique and fabulous part of our wedding day. We loved the musical choices and were surprised yet delighted that our guests took it upon themselves to take to the dance floor! Quite unexpected but a testament to the magical qualities of music. Witnessing multiple generations responding to the music became one of the most special memories of the day! The atmosphere this band created was electric, and seeing as many of our guests were musicians or involved in the creative industry we can wholeheartedly recommend this band for an event! "

"Dearest Sarah- Jane and the boys Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone has been talking about it. Honestly, it was so hot but was perfect because it turned the room into a ‘Speakeasy’. It was brilliant and people were chatting away and just having the best time. "Played at my recent wedding at St Davids Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay. They were fantastic for the drinks reception and everyone commented how brilliant and professionally they performed. If you have a wedding coming up and need a band for the reception this is the band! "

"I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. "Black Velvet Band helped make the Souldern Village Ceilidh a great success. Ours was a Village event with all ages and the Band got all ages dancing. They played superbly and brought a caller with a good sense of fun. They provided music to dance to, music to listen to and an entertainment show all in one! On a practical level they were professionally early arriving, leaving the event organiser relaxed and free to have a drink! Greatly appreciated in all regards. Ian Grey"
