"Benoit and his fabulous hot club played for our wedding dance and helped make a fantastic evening with a super atmosphere. The band got everyone up dancing - aged 8 to 80 - and created a played skilfully and full of fun their period pieces. Thank you"

"We booked the BVB for our wedding in April at Stonehouse Court. We specified Celtic music and they were excellent – they even learned a song for me to sing with them in two weeks flat! True musicians who really know their stuff. They were punctual and did not skimp on time – not taking lengthy breaks between songs which I know some do. A really great experience – I thoroughly recommend them."

"These guys were just great and made a special birthday really special. Just loved Mike’s amazing fiddle playing. They accommodated all our requests for Irish and Scottish music and were flexible around times which was great as lunch was later than anticipated. Would highly recommend."

"Swing Train 42 played at our wedding in Somerset and it was a real highlight of the reception. They were really easy to communicate with, accommodating on a couple of last minute logistical changes and most importantly played a fantastic couple of sets. Several of our guests asked for their details and everyone really enjoyed having them play. Could not recommend more highly!!"

The live acoustic music created a wonderful atmosphere on the day. The band were organised, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Jive Trio for an event."

"We had a great time ably assisted by the music and calling of the Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. Thank you so much! The band were very adaptable, as we changed the arrangement for the sets on the night, and reassured that they were there to entertain - which they certainly did. They got people up dancing from the first note to the last and many, many guests have commented how much they enjoyed the ceilidh."
