"Wedding with around 100 guests and I had a vision of having jazz musicians setting the scene me and this was done perfectly. Really set the tone for the day and could not have asked for anything more. Very professional, accommodating and friendly. Can’t recommend more. Any event I now do will have these musicians if available! The music was exactly what I had been looking for! 10/10 reccomend"

"Well what can I say. It was perfect. The three guys were the perfect start to a 40th birthday party celebration (that ended at 4am!? They were friendly and professional plus excellent musicians pitching the right music at the right time ending the sets with the party on their feet dancing. Would like to thank them for making the day a special one that everyone enjoyed fully. Kindest Regards"

"The ceilidh went amazingly well! The dance floor was full all evening. I put it down to Eddy and Mike, who played tunes with such an exciting beat that you just couldn’t stay still. The caller was huge fun. I highly recommend the band."

"This is the second time we have booked the Black Velvet Band for our summer ceilidh, and it was such fun! The band ran two different dancing sessions for our international students and were very patient with explaining the dances and encouraging all students to participate. The music was brilliant and energetic, and all three band members were so kind and even paused for a photoshoot with the students. We are looking forward to next summer already. I’d absolutely recommend them for any event/party/celebration!"

"Black Velvet Band Irish Duo – Anniversary Party – April 2025 Very talented musicians, accommodating in choosing the music. Everyone was impressed and enjoyed the evening. A number of people have asked me who the band was for potential future bookings – I think that speaks for itself. Based on their performance and what people told me after the gig, I’m sure it won’t be their last visit to Malvern!"

"The three chaps that make up this band were fantastic on the night, I've had nothing but compliments from the many people in attendance. The music they played was perfect, my 80 year old Irish father who's party it was hasn't stopped smiling since Saturday night. They actually learnt a song which is one of his favourites for the night. And it went down very well. I would recommend the lads to my friends and family events in the future for sure. Many thanks. "I just wanted to say thank you playing at my party, it really made the night for myself and all my family and friends. You arrived early and set up without any disruption and left in the same professional manner. The music was really uplifting and it was great to dance to and created a fabulous atmosphere.
