"We booked this quartet for our ceremony and post-wedding drinks reception and they were one of the highlights of our day! Their extensive repertoire meant that we could enjoy our favourite rock, metal, film and Disney songs in classical format, and we had many guests commenting on how much fun they had listening to them. We wanted to walk out of the ceremony to the Island song from Adventure Time, which had never been arranged for a string quartet before. This was no trouble for Kim and her team who were able to put it together in a matter of weeks. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"

"The girls not only conducted themselves in a most professional manner, but they also looked gorgeous, being beautifully dressed and well groomed, we felt very proud to have them with us on such a special day. "We probably made things a little difficult for the Strings in that our guest ages ranged from 6 to 90 and in a vast open area, their sound was difficult to hear unless in the main lawn area, and people were wandering everywhere. Having said that, several guests gave me feedback that was very positive and that they enjoyed the music a lot. Jane and the guys co-operated fully with any requests made, and I got a lot of comments where people recognised tunes but without words made it a challenge to identify the song or artist. I had hoped to get a few people dancing but my attempt failed, guests were very much into conversations with friends and family they had not seen got for considerable time. Overall, the strings were very professional, please pass on my thanks to Jane and her colleagues, just a feeling that we did not do them justice."

"They played at our Wedding last June and were absolutely fantastic, all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and they were undoubtedly a real highlight for our drinks reception. It provided a really nice atmosphere for when people arrived back from the church. Thank you!"

"I just wanted to say what a fantastic concert we had with you on 7th October. We had great reviews from the attendees, and I can honestly say that I wasn’t joking when I said that I thought I had fallen a little bit in love with opera, in a way that I wasn’t when I got up that morning. Your choice of music was wonderful, and I loved your expressions and that little white handkerchief in Musica Proibita! I thought your enunciation was brilliant (and a few other people in the audience commented on this too) and speaking as someone who is half Italian, your Italian pronunciation was impeccable. In short, you have a beautiful voice. So thank-you for coming to Lowther and I truly hope I can see you in concert again sometime in the future."

"We booked the Donaghue Quartet after finding them on the internet, for my fathers memorial service. They were just fantastic and made the whole service very special indeed, their solo pieces were just fantastic. Their were well rehearsed and we can’t thank them enough for turning the service into something very unique and very memorable- thank you ? "

"Flux Ensemble performed at our wedding, (Sunday 16th June, 2024), and from organising what music to play, (entrance/exit music, music for the signing etc.), through to the day itself, they were consistently friendly and utterly professional, and were not fazed one bit by our choices of tracks. Would thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend!"
