"I was struggling to find a string quartet for our wedding in Oxfordshire that were in budget and played the style of music that we wanted. I was relieved when Liz from the 440 Quartet got back to me to say they were available and were happy to travel from Birmingham to Oxfordshire to play at our wedding. Liz went above and beyond to help us get our playlist just right learning new songs that they didn’t have in their repertoire. They played every song to perfection on the day and everyone really enjoyed listening to them throughout the ceremony and drinks reception. The mix of songs they played around our playlist worked perfectly. Thank you Liz for being so helpful and accommodating, we really appreciate it as it took so much stress out of the process for us. I cannot recommend The 440 String Quartet highly enough for any wedding or event. "

"I tried something new with the edit as the lighting was very difficult to work with. I love the first one of you playing ? Then same edit on the one with you all together. "We hired this quartet for our wedding, and they were nothing short of phenomenal! Although I didn’t get to hear them play for the full three hours (wedding day chaos!), our guests could not stop talking about how incredible they were. So many people said it felt like walking into a real-life Bridgerton episode — elegant, enchanting, and so beautifully played. One of the most important moments for me was the bridal procession. I had requested a very specific song, and they absolutely nailed it. It was emotional, magical, and just perfect. They were professional, talented, and brought such a special touch to our wedding atmosphere. If you're looking for live musicians to elevate your event, this quartet is the one. Truly one of the best decisions we made!"

"We were absolutely delighted with Astri Strings (Victoria & Jude), who played at our wedding. From the very start, communication with them was so easy and stress-free — they were professional, warm, and accommodating to every request. Their repertoire is incredible, covering everything from classical and jazz through to modern-day hits. One particularly special touch was when they learnt and performed the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, even though it wasn’t on their list. That meant the world to me, and it was played so beautifully. They performed seamlessly as our guests arrived, throughout the ceremony, and into the drinks reception, creating a lovely atmosphere from start to finish. So many of our family and friends commented on how stunning the music was, and we couldn’t agree more! We would 100% recommend Astri Strings to anyone planning a wedding or any other celebration.
