"House of Chords were absolutely fantastic at our wedding. Their sound is of really high quality and they created an amazing atmosphere on the night. We met over the phone prior to the day and had a detailed discussion about our music preferences, set lengths, last song of the night etc. This made us feel as though the night was tailored to us, making our day feel even more special. They have a wide choice of songs and the dance floor was filled from start to finish. They are also really professional and talented musicians, and they were very quick to respond to any queries we had prior to the event and on the day, giving us a stress free and enjoyable experience. Many of our guests commented to say how brilliant the band were too. We highly recommend House of Chords for weddings, or any other event for that matter. It's an absolute 10 out of 10 from us. Thanks again guys."

"Just wanted to drop you a line from Bali and say what an amazing night we had at our wedding last weekend. You guys were brilliant, flexible, accommodating and most importantly good fun. Comments we have received following the night have included, it was the party to end all parties, and its the wedding and party that people will be talking about for years. Things couldn't have gone better in the night for us and when we were able to stand back and look on the chaos that was taking place on the dance floor we were ecstatic. So thanks once again. "Deciding to add ‘live’ walk up music for the awards presentation itself was a first for us, and the decision proved right. The ‘stings’ ranged from intense to amusing - our Managing Editor walked up to the Mission Impossible theme - and caused one of our guests to remark that it was ‘just like the Oscars’. On the sheer entertainment side of things, check out this band. They are awesome. "

"We booked Funk it Up! for our wedding this summer & can not tell you how blown away we were by them. They were ALL absolute stars & Funk it Up! was easily the best part of our day - they brought 100% party vibes! They were an incredibly tight band; every member was an excellent musician & having been a bit of a fusspot about music building up to the day, I could not have been more chuffed. The dance floor was always packed out & the setlist did not let up! I lost count of the number of people who said to us afterwards how brilliant Funk it Up! had been, with the singer Ginger getting top marks from everybody for her showmanship and 10/10 bringing of the party throughout the set! If you want a proper old-school 70s/80s funk and soul band for your wedding or function, without the modern cliched Bruno Mars / Uptown Funk type stuff, then Funk it Up! is the band for you! Ginger was super helpful and communicative in the lead-up - she was able to add a trumpet player to the band's lineup to fill out the sound for us on the night & even kindly offered us the use of the band's PA for an hour at the end of the night after they'd finished playing. Do yourself a favour and book Funk it Up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and you will NOT regret it."
