Review Centre: Classical Ensembles

"Thank you so much Em Strings for providing these very talented musicians. There was 100+ people in the Church congregation, all of whom commented individually on how they enjoyed the classical performance, and how beautiful and graceful the musicians were. The ensemble set the scene beautifully and yes - the was everything and more I had dreamed of as a bride, they definitely fulfilled my heart's desire to make it a beautiful church wedding ceremony, very fitting for that period church. I pray that I will be able to enjoy that ensemble again over the years with more celebrations. Thank you again for such a breathtaking and awe inspiring performance. "

"Just wanted to say that the CG quartet we hired for my daughter' s wedding from LMM were amazing. They arranged and played what she requested beautifully, from waiting for the bride to arrive, playing as she went up the aisle and then processing out again. They were professional and their playing was of the highest quality. Everything was organised with minimal fuss and communication and reassurance was constant throughout. I would thoroughly recommend LMM."

"We booked Golden Gospel for our summer wedding and couldn't have been more pleased! As you can imagine, it was hard to make a decision as there are so many groups out there, but after listening to their soundtracks and speaking with them via email - I knew I wanted them to sing at our wedding - and I wasn't disappointed! They were simply amazing. The communication beforehand was so friendly and informative, that I felt immediately at ease and so excited to hear them in person. On the day, they were absolutely fantastic. They had guests entertained (some up dancing) before I arrived, sang an amazing version of my wedding entrance song and then ended the ceremony in such a joyful, uplifting way. We had so many compliments about them, with many guests saying they were their favourite and most memorable part of the day. I cannot recommend enough, they were everything I hoped for and more."

"Aphrodite Strings played at our wedding in August 2013. They performed in the church whilst guests arrived, as I walked down the aisle, during the signing of the registers and as the wedding party left the church. They also played at our wedding reception afterwards. I can honestly say that having them perform on our 'big day' was a brilliant decision, they are very talented musicians and helped us create the 'tasteful' occasion we had hoped for. From the moment we met Antonia she was extremely helpful, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her, even though we requested some pieces outside their usual repertoire! We would thoroughly recommend Aphrodite Strings to anyone thinking of having live music at their wedding or other occasion and I can't thank them enough for making our day so special - they really are superb performers and lovely people too. "Thank you for playing (pun unintended) such a huge part in making the perfect day. You missed your special mention during the speeches as you were preparing for our first dance, but both my husband and dad mentioned how great you were and you got a round of applause. So many people have commented on how amazing the band was, I am especially grateful that you played the song requested by my father-in-law. It meant a lot to him. I will certainly recommend you to anyone and would never hire anyone else if in need of a String Quartet again."

"We had a fantastic experience, in the run up to the big day they were brilliant, provided a great list of songs to choose from and even managed to get songs which weren't on the list. They were so professional on the big day, they were at the church early, already had things ready to go and played wonderful music.
