"Wow what a night! This band are amazing and had everyone on their feet! I had seen them performing at the Thomas Tripp in Christchurch and as soon as I heard them I knew I wanted them for my 40th party! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Gav the lead singer got all the audience involved which was brilliant and everyone just had such a great time. If you are looking for a party band look no further, these are your guys! Thanks so much to Gav & the band x"

"The band played at our wedding on Saturday. All of the guests commented on how good they were… wow absolutely brilliant. They were very accommodating with our song request for our first dance, a song they don’t usually sing but absolutely smashed it. Would we recommend them? Without a shadow of a doubt. The evening reception wouldn’t have been the same without them."

"We saw this fantastic band on Friday at the Dartmouth Regatta - they were fab. Great range of music and really involved the crowd - including my 3 year old. They even changed a song for him! Would definitely recommend."

"Shakers Gold were recommended to us for our wedding and we will be doing the same! We opted for the Jazz duo followed by the four piece band and DJ and couldn't be happier with how the whole night went! The band were discreet to set up/shut down and the transition between band and DJ was so smooth. The band had everyone up on the dancefloor within minutes of playing and we remained there all night! It was a brilliant atmosphere and we can't thank them enough."

"They were just amazing! They were early for the event, I had arranged a time for them to begin playing but we ran over (cake cutting/ first dance etc) and they didn't mind at all even though it meant they would not be able to get home as soon as they would have! They took requests, got people dancing, even went up to guests and sung directly to them which was brilliant! We've had such good feedback from our guests and would definitely recommend them! "Such a talented duo, music ranging from 60s to today, even did an Irish section as some visitors from Mayo were over....good fun ,nice banter with the audience, seen them now 3 to 4 times one of these events they did a great Mark Bolan set. perfect for a small family do, through to weddings or corporate functions......cant fault them."

"We absolutely loved having you guys there and you definitely got the atmosphere right. We had a lot of comments that people loved the music during the day so a big thank you for that! Also, our guests LOVED having a band for the ceremony (rather than the traditional harpist or flute players). Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked you guys for longer or for the evening too!
