"Unrecognised genius The Arsenal Tavern, Finsbury Park on Saturday 25 June 2022 That headline was a quote from DAVID BOWIE in Mojo Magazine about Billy RItchie, the keyboard player of MAYHEM, and could easily apply to the band itself. I reviewed them before, having been hugely impressed by the stunning harmonies and clever use of backing tracks, but I have to say, the new incarnation is even better, with Billy on Keyboards and Carol singing with even more assurance as when I first saw them a few years ago. DAVID BOWIE's comment is seen to be apt, the keyboards adding yet another dimension to what was already a very fine band/duo. I went to The Arsenal Tavern to catch the band, out of curiosity, especially when I noted the addition of keyboards. What a nice venue, rather a shame that the crowd was relatively quiet for a Saturday night, but they did warm up in the end - more than that, there was whooping and hollering as Carol and Billy sang "Don't Stop me Now" by Queen and "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen, among many other fine renditions of popular and very danceable songs, including Carol's stirring version of "Feel like a Woman" and Billy's rousing "Light my Fire" with its stunning organ solo and vocal climax producing a roar from the crowd before the song even ended. I still sense that this band has yet more to offer, some of the material could be considered rather lightweight and perhaps too populist, for such a credible force as MAYHEM are. ""The Dukes were brilliant from start to finish, before the event you could tell they were organised and helped put us at ease for the big day. Their performance was brilliant, all very talented and had a brilliant range of music. They also sung our first dance for us, very well which was helpful as it distracted from my awful dancing. They listened to the type of music we would like to be played and also read the room very well. We only had very positive feedback from all guests and were great at interacting with the crowd when necessary. On top of this they were all very lovely, professional and talented. "What can I say the stereobeats are amazing ! We heard them 4 years ago at another wedding and we fell in love with them. They were awesome back then and have only got better since. We used the stereobeats for our wedding recently for the daytime entertainment and again for the evening invite. The ceilidh was great and they explained the steps well as we had people who had never been to a Scottish wedding and danced a ceilidh and they loved it. Everyone in the band were great, a great combination of songs and the dancefloor was always busy. Everyone at the wedding commented on how great they were. They had no issues with playing our first dance and father daughter dance, They really are the best band around, I highly recommend them."

"Come in set up completely organised and professional, stayed extremely incognito, great equipment range and all lovely lads. They were incredible, extremely versatile set list which pleased everyone. Brilliant musicians all around and great vocalist. To say we have all spoken about have great you were is 100%! "Radio Invaders, An excellent band for any occasion I just wanted to say how fantastic Radio Invaders were on our wedding day. Due to various issues weather/staffing/room bookings... We were finding our day frustrating at times and then Radio Invaders arrived and absolutely delivered a brilliant couple of sets, bringing the whole day to a fantastic close. I would recommend them at any wedding due to the range of genres they can play, but suited our preference brilliantly, even playing there more controversial songs which went down extremely well. I've only had positive feedback so far from my guests that they were awesome. Finally, they are just polite/entertaining gentlemen so just wanted to share they are a real asset to your listings and will 100% use them again for events in the near future. Thanks Sean and Lucy"
