"We booked Kelly’s Heroes for our Mums 70th Birthday party. There was a large spectrum of ages and their music was enjoyed by all! Outstanding service from start to finish. They played ALL the family favourites from their set list and EVERYONE was raving about their performance! Easily the BEST IRISH BAND I’ve seen. Thank you sooooooo much Kelly’s Heroes, you were AMAZING!"

"My new husband and I hired Absolute Band a fortnight ago and they were simply amazing - we chose the 5-piece band because we wanted the fiddle for our Irish theme and it was the best decision! The dancefloor wasn't empty once and compliments from our guests came thick and fast about the band! They learnt our first dance really quickly and the whole night was a musical success. Honestly, hiring them was one of the finest choices we made Thank you to all the band members for making our wedding so memorable. "They arrived promptly, set up without any fuss, played two brilliant sets , were very generous with their time and got everyone dancing. Mike called the dances clearly and gave people chance to have a quick practice. Mike encouraged everyone and the dance floor never emptied. The band really helped make the wedding very special. "

" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "During the summer we were lucky enough to have Mark play at my mum's 60th birthday bash. Mark was absolutely fantastic! He was perfectly professional throughout and so friendly and funny. He played a really good mix of my mum's favourite music (60's tracks) and other tracks too. He responded really well to the crowd and had everyone up and dancing - from the 3 year old to the 80 year olds, and all in between! We enjoyed it so much that we ended up asking him if he could stay a couple of hours longer but he sadly had another gig to go to! I know that a lot of the guests were keen to see if Mark was free to play at their upcoming summer parties… he was such a hit with everyone - I've never had so many people ask me "where did you find him?!!". I would thoroughly recommend Mark whatever your occasion. I know that I'll be contacting him again next time we have a do! Thanks so much again Mark for making my mum's birthday so special! "
