"I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend. "

"“We were delighted with the Hot Four, who we hired for out Vintage-style Wedding. Selecting a band was tough, but the Hot Four’s history and their ability to play vingtage-style won us over. I got goosebumps listening to the lead singer online and knew they were the right choice. The band played one vingtage set and one modern set, and we were blown away by how many people got up and danced right from the start! The vibe was a perfect fit for out wedding, rhey set up before dinner and performed flawlessly throughout. They learned a new track for our first dance and, on the day, they were accommodation in shot]rtening it slightly on our request. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better band. They truly made our wedding memorable, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented and professional musicians who specialise in a vintage style. Thank you the Hot Four! "

"Paddy K, thank you so very much for being such a special part of our wedding day. From singing in church, to entertaining at our reception venue, you were exactly what we wanted… such an amazing voice! So many of our guests commented on how brilliant you were. "The band were great, arrived on time, set up and to be honest we only saw them when they played. They played a great set list that pleased the audience! They were polite and friendly through the entire event, even during the stage invasion by my dog."

"Jukebox James recently sang at our wedding. From time of booking, JJ was extremely helpful & accommodating regarding timings, choice of set list & learning two songs for us. His setup worked perfectly in a smaller venue and the backing tracks gave us the full band experience. On the day, Jim was very friendly & played & sang brilliantly. We really glad we booked Jukebox James & would highly recommend him."

"The Band was superb in guiding us through the preparation for its gig - our wedding reception no less - not least of all in its patience with our frequent delays in getting back with requested information! We asked for a "Dublin/ Temple Bar" feel to the gig and that is what we got in spades. We have no doubt that the Band would have presented other music styles equally as well. Our 80 plus guests loved the performance, as did the 10 or so staff at the reception venue. The manager of our local folk club booked the Band - taking its details that very same night - for a club performance at date to be arranged. The Band's fee for the evening was very competitive for the performance and the help we were given in its preparation. The Band arrived in good time, set up quickly and demobilised swiftly and tidily. "We booked "It Takes 2" back in January 2022 for Cleeve Prior village Queens Platinum Jubilee 50's evening. From beginning to end, Kelly and Graham were absolutely fantastic. I bombarded them with emails about set lists, how much power they would require etc etc and each and every time Kelly responded immediately with the answers. Being an organiser of the event and never using the band before, it was quite a responsibility in choosing our entertainment, I needn't have worried. They arrived early, were so professional and had everybody on the dancefloor from beginning to end. The 50's theme / set list, which I was worried wouldn't go down well, was absolutely fantastic. I have been congratulated on booking such a good band but it was all Kelly and Graham's doing, we look forward seeing them at future events and many people in the village are planning on using them, I honestly cannot thank them enough....!"

"Dear Lilac, I just wanted to send a thank you to you and the band for the 2 August performance. Everyone really enjoyed the music and commented on how the country band was excellent. I appreciate your learning the songs I sent over- I think you did a brilliant job. You also did a great mix of music that went really well together, we really enjoyed dancing to it. My husband said he thought you and your band made the weekend, you were his favorite and that is saying a lot considering we had 4 performances that weekend.
