"The band were an absolute delight, just the right mix of professional musicians and informal enough to mix in with people and jolly them along. They were completely marvellous and everyone had a great time, even though some people had never done ceilidh dancing before and were a little shy."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – James and May-Kate’s Wedding Ceilidh – April 2026 We enjoyed having Black Velvet at our wedding party to play two sets of Ceilidh dancing. The guests thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the music after being taught the dances. Even our four year niece joined in with some of the dancing! The band were prompt to set up and we enjoyed the live music. James Battle-Matthews"

"We’ve loved seeing Kelly and Graham perform at a variety of venues over the last few years so we were delighted when they agreed to sing at our wedding last weekend. They provided four incredible sets across our wedding afternoon / evening: one acoustic and three electric. All were absolutely wonderful! They were happy to work with us beforehand to personalise their setlists and include requests - for which they gave guests shoutouts on the day! The duo are so bubbly and energetic: they got everyone up dancing. Kelly has a stunningly beautiful voice and is able to breeze through a wide range of genres. Graham is a phenomenal guitarist and also a wonderful singer. They brought a huge amount of joy and fun to us and our guests. We were particularly grateful to them for learning our first dance especially for us and performing an absolutely beautiful rendition. Highly recommend this wonderful duo!! 🎤🎸🎶"

"We chose Jack from a selection of artists because we liked his repertoire of songs. Jack even said he would add more of our choice, which he did. He has a lovely chilled voice and style. Our guests loved him. Highly recommend. "

"Absolutely fantastic, I've known the lead singer for a while, she started this band 5 years ago ,they are one of the biggest country party bands across the UK playing over 50 shows a year! You will not go far wrong booking this modern Nashville style band, if they are not already booked! Simply amazing!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Christian and Fiona’s 40th Wedding Anniversary Party – May 2026 Wonderful, great musicians, great caller, managed to get dancing going for a mixed age group which included from quite senior to a few young children. The band were very helpful and flexible and helped towards a memorable evening for everyone. Great music, plenty of dancing, great party!"

"We absolutely loved Stargazers. We booked the acoustic duo for the afternoon drinks reception at our wedding and then the rest of the band for the evening. They were fantastic and the dance floor was full all night. We have had lots of positive feedback from our guests with lots of people asking where we found them. Thank you so much for making our first dance and wedding so special. We would definitely recommend Stargazers and book again!"

"Saw this duo play on Thursday in High Wycombe. Great Irish set for St Patrick's Day. The whole crowd were singing and banging the tables, and there was even some Irish dancing. Excellent guitarist and lovely singing. Danny boy brought a tear to my eye. Let us know when you are up this way next."

"If you are after a country/ americana band these are the guys and girls for you, the band are fantastic and extremely professional. The function loved them and they really help set the night. The girls are fantastic dancers and certainly helped school a few of us with some ace line dancing thankyou . I only wished that on our side we could of had the band playout side. I really hope we can get you all back on station for another event in the future, Thankyou."
