Review Centre: Function Bands

"I love'The Cheers', and I can only echo what is said in the other reviews. They played at my son's wedding earlier this year, and I knew then that this was the band I wanted to book for my birthday party. It was the right decision! I did not even discuss a playlist with Ben as I fully trusted him to pick the right songs for the occasion, and he did! The music was fantastic and all my guests without exception were very impressed with this band. All the band members are easygoing, lovely and very talented young people. I THOROUGHLY recommend 'The Cheers' and if I get another excuse to throw a party I will definitely book them again!!!"

"Guys!!! Thank you so much for coming and bringing the party so hard for us!! You have no idea how many people told us how amazing you guys were! I literally couldn't have wanted for anymore you absolutely nailed it, set list, vibes. And the songs we requested! You literally nailed them, our first dance was amazing and we looooved that you guys put your own country spin on it, so cool! Also the last song, so much fun!!! You guys had a full dance floor the whole time, which is literally the dream for anyone planning a wedding! Also when you got my little cousin up singing teenage dirtbag that was a core memory for the day for me ❤️"

"Thanks again for playing at our wedding. The music was perfect for giving the drinks reception that 'vintage' feel and definitely added a touch of class! "Just a quick message to say that I thought you were amazing on Saturday! You were everything that I could have hoped for and far exceeded my expectations, you really were excellent and I have had loads of texts’ off friends and family saying how much they enjoyed you and where did I find you! In all the weddings I have ever been to I have never seen a dance floor so full from start to finish and the song choices you made to play were spot on. I know a few people took your details for future functions that they have! I think you absolutely made the day for us and I could not recommend you highly enough! I’ll keep a look out on your website for any future showcases that you do as I will make a huge effort to come and see you play again! Thanks once again for making our wedding day perfect!"

"Tashara performed twice on our Piano Stage at Hope Festival this year. We all hope she will return next year as she was one of the highlights of the weekend. All of us that were fortunate enough to hear her sing were astounded and delighted by the quality of her performance and charmed by the warmth of her personality. "Lazy Marmalade were quite simply the perfect addition to our special day. Music choices were great, they read the crowd perfectly and kept our guests dancing. The acoustic sets were brilliant, these guys have the best energy and were so easy to deal with in the lead up to the wedding too. We cant thank you enough - we'll see you at our vow renewal!! "

"WOW - what can we say!! Karizma made our reception, they just got it! We got married at Parley Manor in Dorset and these guys were the icing on the cake. They knew what to do and when to do it and got the dance floor alive. They played a fantastic set but more importantly the energy they delivered was exceptional. They blew us away and we had continuous comments all night from our guests about how fantastic they were and what an amazing performance Talisha gave. From the point of booking to the end of the night this was the easiest part of the whole wedding arrangements. BOOK THEM! "

"I was truly amazed by the music played by The London Jazz Project's Duo. They provided the perfect background music as we were also able to chat to customers and guests without having to tell them to turn down the volume. Their music is perfect for these type of events and I truly recommend them."

"Mellowtone jazz were fantastic! We hired them to play at our corporate event. Chris and the team were very accommodating of our needs - nothing was too much trouble. The jazz trio played a great repertoire of all the jazz classics and they made our event that extra bit special! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we would certainly use them again for another event in the future."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."
