"We just had the Mellowtone Jazz trio play at my husband's 80th birthday BBQ. It was a lovely sunny afternoon, we had great food and wine all topped off with perfect music. The trio just add such a wonderful ambience to an event. As loud or as quiet as you like.......so so easy going. I would definitely recommend these guys. Carole"

"Absolutely fantastic band. Booked for 25th Wedding party and superb. Really good communication beforehand, wanted to know what we wanted but also gave helpful guidance and had pretty much uploaded every song suggestion for DJ set before they arrived. Very professional, really excellent musicians who engaged with partygoers and came out onto dance floor. Which was definitely filled. Brilliant. Would highly recommend and definitely book again. And really nice blokes. Matt is a fantastic frontman but also really good at engaging with us as the party organisers. Couldn’t fault them. Thank you!"

"We could not have asked for a better band and performance than the one these guys gave at our wedding a couple of weeks ago. We had the privelige of seeing them as a two piece a few months prior for a reopening of a pub and thought they were brilliant then. When we enquired about their availability and when we found out they operated as a three piece, we knew these guys would be ideal for our wedding. Every song they performed was a hit, the dance floor was constantly full as not only did they nail every song, they interacted with our guests brilliantly. To top it off they are a great set of lads, polite, friendly extremely professional and unbelievably talented. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and will definitely be looking to see them perform again in the future!"

"What a fantastic wedding reception we had courtesy of Jimmy and the band - the songs were brilliant, the band truly entertained us all and got the party started. From the minute they started our first dance to the last song where everyone was still on the dance floor, it was a fabulous night. "The Northern Reel Collective played at the evening reception for my wedding on 30/03/2018. They were brilliant, and my guests were singing their praises. Quite a few guests had not ceilidh danced before, but nearly everyone had a go and enjoyed themselves. The well-practised Scottish contingent also enjoyed the music and dancing. My seven-year-old cousins are still talking about the dancing and what fun they had. Even the groom's 90-year-old granny was able to dance one of the slower dances. Michael did the calling on the day, giving clear instructions for people to follow; he was also great to deal with in the booking process. I can’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks, guys!"

"Jaya and Sarah, we can’t thank you enough for playing for us at our wedding in Jersey. The music was outstanding, and loved by all our guests. Many commented on the wide range of your repertoire and the incredible arrangements. You made the day really special. From playing on the terrace (hope it wasn’t too hot!), the beautiful music during the ceremony and throughout the wedding breakfast, the wonderful music created a warm, relaxed ambience. To anyone considering Jaya and Sarah, the Chapel Hill Duo, for any event, including a wedding- do not hesitate for a moment. They play to an incredibly high standard, with a wide range of styles from classical, pop, film themes and folk. And play all of these styles equally well. They are two extremely nice, friendly people and a complete pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend the Chapel Hill Duo highly enough. Booking the duo for your wedding is one of the wisest choices you will ever make!"

"Dermot was incredible!! Himself and the two other musicians were absolutely fantastic and were the highlight of the night! They even let me sing with them which was a real honor. Everybody was asking me where i found the band and how they could book them for future parties. Highly recommended :)"
