"We booked a trio (including the awesome double bass) to play at a friend's 50th while we were having afternoon tea. I can confirm that Janet was so lovely and professional to deal with. The level, temp and style of music was perfect and made our tea magical!! We had all ages there and the music was just what we wanted. Thank you so much XX"

"Well, where can I start! From initially stumbling upon Dr Jazz and realising that there was something rather special about their approach and unique sound, to the very first email and phone calls to discuss our plans for the day, all the way through to our Wedding day itself - Dr Jazz and company were brilliant. Helpful, friendly, and wonderfully entertaining, we could not have asked for anything more. The set itself was fantastic - we were blown away with how much of an impact they made, not only in terms of everyone feeling the urge to get up to dance (which was a slight worry for us before the day!), but also with their spot on interaction with the guests, and overall management and ownership of the evening. We really knew we'd made the right decision as soon as the first note was played – talk about creating a spectacle!! In terms of a front man Matthew is absolutely superb, and his supporting crew of brilliantly talented musicians helped make our day one to remember for both us and our guests. Thank you all so very much for everything. We know what it's like trying to find the 'right band', ourselves having trawled through many hundreds of sample tracks from other people and groups, and the worries that come with it regarding whether people will like it, whether it'll be well received etc. The best advice I can honestly give is that if you are sitting there reading this review, and you have enjoyed the sample tracks you've listened to, then please don't hesitate to book these guys. You will not regret it, and you and your guests will certainly never forget it. They were nothing short of marvellous. Once again we wanted to say thank you very much for everything - we really had a fantastic time, as did everyone else in attendance, and it is all thanks to you and your crew. You certainly made the evening, if not the day for us, and we are so pleased and lucky to have been able to book you to play for us. You were nothing short of brilliant, and we can't stop talking or thinking about how amazing you were (and nor can anyone else!) It was so lovely to meet you all in person. All the best for the future, and please rest assured that we'll be singing your praises for the years to come!"

"Carl and I were honoured to have you perform at our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Wow! We couldn’t have picked anyone better and more fitting and you were a massive contributor to our perfect day. The cover of Home for our first dance was amazing and better than I would have ever imagined, I have played it over and over. So many of our guests complimented on how amazing you were. "Primed are a fantastic band. They get everyone up on the dancefloor. When they played at my recent birthday party we had 80 year olds and 10 year olds dancing. They have a great energy as well as a great mixed set list. They played at our wedding and at my 50th birthday, 16 years later and would I book them again……absolutely!"

"Jess was fantastic from the word go! As soon as I booked, we had regular communication and Jess was great in understanding what we needed from the day (from choice of music to timings etc....). On the day, Jess turned up early and set up with no problem at all, leaving us to deal with some last minute things for my dads 85th birthday. She even managed to calm me and other family members down when things got a bit chaotic with her calm, friendly and reassuring manner! The sets that Jess played were perfect! Just as we had requested in terms of genre and style and what a beautiful voice! Before long, we were up and dancing and singing along. Jess made this day magical for us which is just what I had imagined for my dads birthday. Everyone, from the youngest at 7 to the oldest at 85, had an incredible day and were full of praise for Jess. I would highly recommend Jess and would certainly rebook. I was told by my mum that a number of the neighbours were out listening as well in their gardens and loved it too so when rules allow, we may look to get another booking in! Thank you so much Jess ❤️"

"We had the girls for NYE 2019 and they were just incredible. They entertained a very rowdy bunch of ladies and gentlemen for our celebration and we couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was singing and dancing along the entire night. Would highly recommend."

"The band were great, right the way through from booking to setting up on the day. They closed the first day of our event and everyone loved them. "We booked these guys for our wedding in May 2022 and in one word they were AMAZING!!! (apologies for the delayed review guys.. having technology problems) We wanted a ceilidh dance for a part of the night along with more modern and 'traditional' wedding wedding party songs later on, and to be honest we were struggling to find any groups that 'fit the bill. Then we found Ceilidh With Us. Right from the first contact we knew it was going to just what we wanted and all throughout the process they were so helpful, from organising the timetable of the evening, to working with our song lists and making it all fit together to create one hell of a fantastic night. Lilac performed our first dance song amazingly, we couldn't have been happier, and the ceilidh went down a storm (even if we all struggled with the dashing white sergeant - if you know you know). In short I can not recommend these guys more highly. You will not regret hiring them."

"Thank you for a fantastic gig at the Insignio social event. Managers of the University Arms kept asking who you were since you sounded so great. I really liked that apart from playing your own songs, you did covers as well. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and other pubs. "
