"Well, where do I start, was so easy to book an event with this band, contact via email - was always responded to, and very accommodating. The event went without a hitch. Very clear instructions throughout the evening. Would highly recommend."

"St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass. The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig. Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig."

So sorry for this late reply but we have been busy. We loved playing there although mature talented experienced musicians the younger audience went wild and like you said thought it was the best St Patrick's Night Exeter in Exeter. Mac 🙂 🎨 🎻

"I would totally recommend Wraggle Taggle Wraggle Taggle were professional, very accommodating, and went down a treat (9th February 2019 Saturday The King's Royal Hussars Officers' Mess, Tidworth Garrison, Wiltshire, SP9 7BB). They offered both amplified and non-amplified music and using their amplifiers were able to hold a full room of 90 loud and merry party goers. I would totally recommend Wraggle Taggle for any party or event and if the theme lent itself, I would, without doubt, use them again Best wishes Seb Teuber, The King's Royal Hussars 22nd February 2019"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet.Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."

"THANK YOU to Lucy and the boys for making our wedding the most incredible day EVER. They kept my guests entertained for the cocktail hour and the whole evening, played our first dance BEAUTIFULLY and kept the night going. If anyone is considering them for their wedding DO IT you won't be disappointed!"

"Blue Jewel were absolutely excellent at our village hall Ceilidh. Fabulous musicians, great performance and huge enthusiasm. 100 people of all ages were on the dance floor revelling in the wonderful entertainment they provided. They were also highly organised which ensured the event went very smoothly. Highly recommend Kip and Blue Jewel for your social event!"

"What a fabulous night had by all. From the moment we booked the Barnbuskers for our Barn Dance Event at Country Ways they were fantastic. So helpful and well organised. Country Ways had over 100 guests for the Barn Dance and everyone was laughing and smiling. From young to old everyone joined in and had such a lovely evening. "We had seen this band before booking them for our wedding, so we had the highest expectations of them and somehow they still managed to surpass them! An absolutely perfect choice for our special day. Do not underestimate the impact of a good ceilidh band for a wedding or other party function as it breaks the ice amongst all the guests and never fails to get everyone up dancing, whether sober or not-so-sober! We only married yesterday and already have guests messaging us requesting The Blue Jewel's details!"
