"Attended the Sewerby Food Festival this weekend. Great festival with cookery demos from Wolds Cookery School, but the event was really enhanced by the Shamrock Experience - really talented band which kept the visitors entertained and generated a great atmosphere "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were a fantastic edition to our Burns Night celebrations. From communicating before the event to the actual day, the group were professional and easy to reach. They also went above and beyond what their initial brief by ed by agreeing to toast the haggis – which was met with cheers - and taking suggestions from the crowd for different dances. By the end of the night they felt like part of the ROSL family."

"We had a joint 50th & 80th birthday party. Black Velvet were fantastic. Great musicians and made the Barn dance run smoothly. We had ages from 5 to 80 and they tailored everything perfectly. Made it a birthday to remember."

"Charlotte and I just wanted to say a big thank you to your band for Saturday night! They brought so much fun and energy to the party. Your accordion player was a brilliant addition to the 12 Days of Christmas song and it made the perfect transition from dinner into the reeling. It was the first time I've seen reeling before and it looked like so much fun, I wanted to join in! Please pass on our thanks to your team. I appreciate it was a difficult set up with the two rooms and only having speakers in one room, but they made it work really well, so thank you for being flexible. Hope you all have a great Christmas and I will definitely recommend you to future clients who would like reeling at their wedding or party"

My husband loved it too – he loves Pink Floyd so when you were singing The Wall through the ceilidh music it was brilliant. "We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the "perfect Irish band" and were over the moon to have found The Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."

" I booked Rejigged for a Retirement Party and everything was arranged very efficiently. The band were very flexible and fitted in with supper and speeches etc. The music was really great it’s just a shame that people were a bit slow in joining in.
