"A huge, huge thank you Ian to you and the Band for giving us such a great evening on Saturday.  Looks like the dance will be the talk of STARA for some time and it’s primarily down to the Band. So many people up dancing which left many of them with aching knees and muscles for days after.  The age range at the dance was from 60 to 85 with the majority in their seventies and eighties so it’s wonderful that they are still enjoying themselves and not frightened  to get up and ‘strut their  stuff’ even with all the hip and knee replacements(and I’m not joking).    I’ve received so many thanks from people all saying what a wonderful night they had and asking us when the next one is going to be. It’s the first time the Club has had what I would call a proper dance so hopefully this will be the first of many. Please pass our thanks onto the rest of the Band."

"I felt I must write and express my admiration for your wonderful band which played so well at our Wedding on Monday at Prestonfield House Hotel. You had gone to so much trouble to play Israeli music and to find those two girls was a stroke of genius. Alison was a terrific compere and I thought that everyone picked up the dances so quickly and so well. It was amazing how the Scottish and Jewish dances blended in so well together. "Thank you Blue Jewel! We had had a fantastic wedding day which culminated in a ceilidh, not everyone's choice of course - until they experience the Blue Jewel phenomenon! You had to be very determined to NOT dance to avoid this. Kip is a brilliant caller - patient and knowledgeable. On the odd occasion when everyone was too tired to dance the band just played on anyway, the music was simply delightful in its own right. We are very lucky to have such a talented band in the west country, I would not hesitate to use these guys again- if you have an event coming up book them before they become world famous and never play locally again! "Hi Steve, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the party on Saturday night, it went down a storm! My wife loved it (she's the important one, as it was her surprise party), and so did everybody else! Even the couple of teenagers that were there joined in! It literally was 8 to 80 years old's, although in didn't notice my mother in law dancing (she has had both hips replaced). "Party Sounds were simply excellent. Not only was the music fantastic, but they are really nice guys too. Helpful and supportive, the dance floor was packed from start to finish. We had a varied age group at the party and all enjoyed the performance without exception. I would highly recommend this band and if I was hosting another party they would be the first band I would contact."

"We had a brilliant time! It was a very hot day and the band were very accommodating, adjusting the playing times and breaking up the dancing with songs. There were only 30 of us, but everyone danced and several people commented on the quality of the music. The band even played “Waltzing Matilda” for the Australian contingent, who all sang along! Thanks very much BVB for making my party so special."
