"Hired Michael and the band for our daughter's 21st party. Really fabulous evening everyone got up to dance straight away. With the help from the caller made us all look like we knew what we were doing. Would recommend them. "

"The band were a pleasure to work with, professional but friendly. They set up very efficiently and discretely considering their arrival time was mid-meal. Considering they had a tricky audience demographic of 65-90 year olds, they managed to get people up on the dance floor with gentle encouragement, for a fabulous end to a great event. Would book again for sure. Thank you!"

Thanks Sharon, it was great to see everyone up out of their seats and dancing to our music non stop. It was a great night for the band, we thoroughly enjoyed playing for such a receptive audience.

"Thank you so much for playing the bagpipes for us on the 18th October 2019; it was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding! Tom was very surprised along with all the guests - and I only managed to let slip the secret a few times! Both my partner and I haven’t quite been able to get over how brilliant you guys were. "Ruby is charismatic, with a charming patter, along with a vivacious singing style. She is a versatile singer with a wide repertoire, which allows her to gauge the audience and perform material that gets a good response. Guests were spontaneously singing and clapping along during our event. She is also very professional, arriving promptly and with quick set up of PA system. She is well presented, dressing for the occasion both at our event and at heritage events where she has also impressed. Highly recommended for Masonic Ladies Festivals, heritage attractions or anywhere that wants to put a smile on the audience’s faces and leave humming familiar tunes on the way home."

I have known Ruby now for several years, I have come to realise her greatest joy is to bring happiness to others and through her wonderful voice and special entertaining qualities she achieves just that!! "The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard to the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regard to what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing. "

"LMM organised the setting up of the event in a very efficient friendly and helpful manner. Even when our original act pulled out unexpectedly Sarah-Jane bent over backwards to ensure we got a similar act at a similar price, all at relatively short notice We were delighted with tremendous set which Martin and Anna of the Ardvierikie Ceilidh Band performed for us all on our son’s wedding night; it exceeded all of our expectations! Right from the word go, their professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! It gave all of us all an amazing evening to remember all our lives and greatly contributed to the success of the wedding as a whole."

"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" It was exactly what I wanted, an evening full of fun with everybody mingling and joining in together. I would highly recommend 'Blue Jewel' if you want a lively and energetic night. Anna"
