"I hired the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for a party I was having (for its own sake!). I made initial contact with Kip online since I live in China and was arranging the party for when I would be at home in the summer. Kip was easy to deal with and the booking was arranged with just a few short emails. On the night, Kip and the rest of the band turned up with the same sense of ease and informality. They provided us with a fantastic night of entertainment with Kip giving clear instructions for the dances as caller. I would thoroughly recommend the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for their quality musicianship, their excellent rates and for their warm and friendly service."

"I’m sorry I did not get the chance to speak to you yesterday, so I wanted to say thank you for the beautiful music you played for my Dad’s funeral. There had been miscommunication and the mourners were gathered outside the chapel rather than at the gate. Nevertheless it made the sad occasion very special to all of us to hear the Scottish pipes leading my Dad on his final journey, and it will be a cherished memory for me always. Thank you again."

"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" It was exactly what I wanted, an evening full of fun with everybody mingling and joining in together. I would highly recommend 'Blue Jewel' if you want a lively and energetic night. Anna"

You made things very easy for all ages to join in and my two year old grandson loved taking part - he had the time of his life! "Ceol beag ceilidh band proved to be an excellent choice for our annual dinner dance. They demonstrated the steps, had an easy beat for dancing, encouraged participation, and there were always lots of people on the floor. Everyone enjoyed the ceilidh and by popular request we were delighted to welcome them back the next year. They did not let us down."

"Such a special event" Good morning Mick, Just a quick note of appreciation to you and the band for helping us make last night such a special event (15th September 2023* Friday (8 - 11pm tbc) The London Irish Centre, 50-52 Camden Square, London, NW1 9XB).
