"Dear Fiddlestix, We are back from honeymoon and have finally caught up with ourselves, and I just wanted to send you a (rather belated!) email to say a huge thank you to you and the ceilidh band for the fantastic playing at our wedding. Everything went really well and everyone really enjoyed the ceilidh - we've had loads of comments from our guests about how much fun it was (special thanks to the brilliant caller), and it got everyone up on the dance floor! "Hi Aly, Just wanted to email to say what an amazing night we had at our wedding ceilidh. Everyone commented on what a fantastic, fun night they had. We knew it would get people up dancing but we couldn't believe how full the dance floor was! From people who had never been to a ceilidh, to our Scottish friends, everyone had the time of their lives! Thank you again, and also thank you for allowing us to use your PA system and lights. This worked perfectly for the disco after the ceilidh! We will definitely recommend you to anyone considering a ceilidh. We wish we could do it all again. Thanks, Steve & Sarah"

"Thank you so much to Ceilidh With Us for all the band did for our wedding, we absolutely loved the ceilidh - it was so much fun and we are 100% satisfied! 😃 The caller was fantastic and explained everything very clearly. The music was really fun and it was helpful when songs got gradually faster; the speed was perfect. The band also managed the number of people well, as there were a lot of people for the space. The communication with the band has been absolutely fantastic as well in terms of meetings, arranging things behind the scenes, and coordinating with the venue. We ended up leaving a bit early simply because we were absolutely exhausted by that point, and the band were wonderful and accommodating in terms of changing the order of songs, so thank you for that - it was a shame we couldn’t stay right until the end!"

"For the past four years, we have employed the services of It's No' Reel' Ceilidh Band. Given the fact that we have several visitors from overseas locations, Tom shows great patience and discretion when calling out the dance steps and making sure everyone knows their steps. I've had lots of compliments regarding the success of our events. I personally would have no hesitation in recommending them for any occasion."

"Our planned wedding band let us down last minute, got in touch with Rowan with only a week to spare and he got the band together in a short space of time and did an excellent job, no doubt a better choice than the original ceilidh band we chose! My parents especially kept saying how much they loved the music."

"For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "
