"The Irish Violinist was absolutely amazing at our wedding, she played beautifully. We had many guests say how lovely her music was and she did perfectly with the songs we wanted and keeping the relaxed and elegant atmosphere through out the whole time she was there. My now father in law even asked for her contact information she was that lovely 😊 "

"I just wanted to drop you a note to say how brilliant Dermot and Co. were on Saturday. Everyone had a fantastic time and even those who couldn't dance were laughing and joining in by clapping and cheering. It really was a great night and we have had alot of great feedback. In the next couple of months I am going to start work on next years diary (I need to forward plan a bit more next time!) and I will definitely be giving you a call to book Dermot again."

"We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night. "The band were absolutely fantastic and were great for a party at the pub! They drove all the way from London to North Yorkshire to play for our wedding welcome party. They played so well and got all our guests dancing all night! The choice of songs were great and all band members were really nice and professional! A big thank you to all 3 of them!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / 08/04/2023 / Ceilidh for Eastercon 2023 (Sci Fi enthusiast's convention) We had a fun-filled, joyous ceilidh, thanks to the amazing, talented Black Velvet Band.The band members are great fun. Alan had us laughing so much with his warmth and humour when calling the dances. The booking process was straightforward and professional. When I talked on the phone to Mike in advance, I was assured that these guys knew their stuff. When I requested non-gendered calling, that was no problem. The band are very versatile - they added a little Star Trek and Dr Who music, seamlessly, into the ceilidh tunes, to give us an extra-special thrill! "This is the 3rd year running that we've been lucky enough to have the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our charity's annual barn dance. I cannot rate them highly enough - from great communication before the event to fabulous music on the day, they are first class. We're already looking forward to our 4th one next year!"

We booked the guys for our wedding and from the booking process to the night of the event, Lilac and Ceilidh With Us were so professional, easily contactable, and friendly. On the night the performance (both ceilidh and covers) was brilliant and brought so much energy and joy to our wedding. These guys are great!"

"Rejigged were hired to play at my 50th birthday party. After reading many positive reviews from their website, I was really looking forward to an entertaining evening of music, dance and laughter with my friends and family. They didn’t disappoint! Chris liaised on behalf of the band and kept regular contact, before the event, ensuring he knew exactly how I wanted the evening to pan out. Booking and payment was simple and advice offered to maximise the success of the evening. We had booked the 5 piece Cailidh band, including the caller. The musicians were highly skilled professionals and their choice of music was perfect for the evening. The caller was entertaining and very patient with us dancers, who joined in enthusiastically, if not skilfully! (Let’s face it, going wrong in the dance is half of the fun!) The band played non-stop for one and a half hours, stopped for half an hour for refreshments and then continued for a further hour. It was wonderful to see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces and the atmosphere was full of fun and laughter. The band really made my special birthday an event to remember: they were excellent! If a Ceilidh band is something you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to book Rejigged; you won’t be disappointed, I promise. K.Barker "
