"Fruin played the background music to our wedding ceremony, and everyone commented on how lovely the music was. They selected a lovely piece of music as the bride walked down the aisle, and played our request of Highland Cathedral during the signing of the register. Mark was really efficient in his communications and made the whole process as simple as it could be."

"The best night ever!! Everyone said it was the best night out and the most fun they'd ever had. Tom and the boys were brilliant and a great deal of patience when we were doing the wrong steps. The dance floor was full of guests all night. We would highly recommend these guys and really appreciate the journey they made to come all the way down to us in Lincolnshire. So a big thank you from us. Hope to see you again"

"The booking process was easy and flawless, I particularly liked being able to ring and talk to the agent. Dermot and his friend are very talented and made the wedding. They played Irish ballads through the meal and then burst into Irish jigs after the first dance. Dermot was flexible and worked well with our DJ. I will love to book him again at some point."

"I just wanted to say such a huge thank you for the amazing performance that you gave. You were so friendly and willing to help in any way that any nervousness about getting up to dance was immediately dismissed. I was extremely apprehensive prior to the night about how the dancing would go down, especially with my two left feet! However my worrying was in vain, what a fantastic night of dancing it was, so inclusive that any and all can get up and get involved, aged 5 or 105. You need no experience or talent, just listen to the brilliant calling, it’s all simple moves but when it comes together with all your friends and family on the night, prepare to be amazed. I can not thank the band enough for making our Wedding such a fantastic night, I have never seen so many people thoroughly enjoying themselves all at once. I can sincerely recommend the Black Velvet Band for any social occasion, your expectations will be exceeded."

"Bryan and I wanted to pass on our grateful thanks for your terrific entertainment at our recent wedding. Your band was incredibly accomplished and we were delighted that you were able to take on the Argentine Tango piece by Canaro that we had specially requested as our first dance , with absolute gusto. "Sounds with Us we’re absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! Everything was perfect, the lead up we had multiple chats and they got to know us, find out our music taste then the day was just brilliant. Lilac did a solo set which was wonderful and the band kept the dance floor going followed with Remko keeping the floor fillers with his awesome DJ skills. Would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! Thank you guys ?"
