Review Centre: Barn Dance Bands

"I must start by saying that both my sister and I realised we failed to formally thank you and your wonderful band for a perfect night last weekend. We both regret this enormously and I only hope you could see through the night what a perfect contribution your band made to it We have had lovely feedback from guests and the staff at the venue said it was one of the best party's they had ever hosted. There is no doubt that a big reason for this was down to Craigi. The music was great. Everything we had hoped and more. Please pass on my thanks to your excellent band members and of course special thanks to you. It was lovely to have you all there from the start and your playing really added to the happy atmosphere. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope very much that I will get to dance to your music again soon. "

"Blue Jewel played for my son's wedding on Saturday. They were amazing! Virtually the entire guest list of 110 people danced the entire night, having a fantastic time. The feedback was just... wow! I would thoroughly recommend them... and lovely guys too."

"I first saw Shamrock Experience at a local beer festival and loved the energy and the music. Have since been to see them play local pubs when I can, never a disappointment and always gets everyone up and dancing. Highly recommend."

"We had seen this band before booking them for our wedding, so we had the highest expectations of them and somehow they still managed to surpass them! An absolutely perfect choice for our special day. Do not underestimate the impact of a good ceilidh band for a wedding or other party function as it breaks the ice amongst all the guests and never fails to get everyone up dancing, whether sober or not-so-sober! We only married yesterday and already have guests messaging us requesting The Blue Jewel's details!"

Professional, friendly, and incredibly talented, Lilac and Ben had our team of 60 cowfolk on their feet, singing and line dancing (well, attempting to line dance). Sound With Us made our event memorable, and we would not hesitate to book them again! "

"Thanks you so much The Shooglers for playing at our wedding in April. I booked you after receiving a recommendation from the bass player of my own band. He was at a function you guys were playing at last year and he raved about you so much I was really glad you were able to play for us. There were guests from Canada, Dublin and New Zealand at our wedding and they were all joining in and everyone had a superb night. I especially enjoyed how you blended in rock and pop tunes with some of the Ceilidh dances. "This is just a letter to thank you again for the wonderful input your band had to my mother’s 80th birthday party in July. All our relatives and friends are still talking about the party and the fantastic music you provided. It was so good to have a mixture of ceilidh and other styles, the band was certainly very versatile. We will certainly be in touch, next time, we want to hire music for any other events we plan."
