"Heard 'The Shooglers' play at a fantastic wedding I was photographing, well I was so desperate to join in the dancing - truly fantastic music ;-) I love the one you did with the mix of Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall - was amazing! Tapping my foot and itching to dance - best music at a wedding I’ve ever heard!"

"Apologies that this thank you is long overdue, and that I didn't get much time on the day to say hi and thank you in person (it went so quick!!). I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding at Thornton Manor Lakeside Marquee on 26 October. You were absolutely fantastic. The ceilidh was brilliant and the calling was a lot of fun! You kept everyone going and having a great time, despite the chaos of a bunch of English folk trying it out for the first time! I really appreciated you playing the first dance song - it meant a lot to me and sounded fantastic (even if it did have the grandparents in tears!). I will not hesitate to recommend you."

The music was fantastic, and I felt the calling gave us just the right amount of detail without holding back those who were itching to get on with the dancing. "We needed a to book a last-minute Bluegrass band for a country & western themed event for one of our clients. Lilac was accommodating and made sure the band and musicians were arranged and arrived in plenty time to allow for rehearsals. Bluegrass With Us performed well and included a line dance instructor. Overall we had a successful night and a satisfied client. I would recommend their services. Thank you again."

"I would just like to thank you for the wonderful performance on Sat night at my Daughter’s naming ceremony. We all had a great time, and everybody commented on how great the band was. I never laughed or enjoyed a dance so much and would like to have another party, just to have you play again. "Kellys Heroes performed a Ceilidh and played some of their amazing songs at our wedding in March 2019. We had previously seen them perform in Nottingham at the City Arts Folk Proms, and had initially only intended to have a Ceilidh, though after hearing Tony's vocals, we knew that our wedding guests would love to hear them as well! The entire band are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, and were amazing at our wedding. We highly recommend you to book Kellys Heroes for any events you may have - they will not disappoint! Everyone loved them at our wedding, and are still talking about them!"

"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "
