"The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"Mick and the boys really made the evening of our wedding. The music was brilliant and they tailored the calling and dances for a mixed crowd of ceilidh veterans to first timers. "Wow! These guys were amazing! They were really clear and easy to communicate with in the build-up to our event (wedding) and we're always looking for ways to make the day brilliant. The band and the caller on the day surpassed even our best hopes and we knew before they had even performed we had made the right choice. They were relaxed, friendly, adaptable and professional. Most importantly, they were brilliant at getting people dancing! Could not recommend them enough - I'm tempted to throw another event just to use them once more!"
