"We booked the BVB for our wedding in April at Stonehouse Court. We specified Celtic music and they were excellent – they even learned a song for me to sing with them in two weeks flat! True musicians who really know their stuff. They were punctual and did not skimp on time – not taking lengthy breaks between songs which I know some do. A really great experience – I thoroughly recommend them."

"Hi Davie, We're just back from honeymoon and wanted to thank you for the music - everyone loved it and the Zorba the Greek was just spectacular! I can’t quite remember if we thanked you at the end of the night (ski shot to blame) but if we didn’t, apologies and we would have no problems recommending you again! "Thank you so much to Steve and the band for a fantastic party. Steve made arrangements at very short notice to help provide a band for our party. The dances were explained very well and all ages and abilities were able to join in with the fun. The band played a special birthday song for the birthday girl which she loved! Even weeks after the party guests are still talking about how great the band was and how much fun the afternoon was. We would highly recommend Blue Jewel!!! "

"The ceilidh was a great success (31st December 2013 Tuesday Goldsmith's College, Lewisham Way, New Cross, London SE14 6NW) the orchestra really enjoyed themselves! Please pass on my thanks to Wraggle Taggle for all they did - they were marvellous. If our residency is back at Goldsmiths next year, we'd love to have them back, but I'm afraid we don't know what we're doing until the last minute. I'll certainly be back in touch if we need a band for our Spring/Summer residencies though! Thanks again Ben Salter, Head of Support, National Youth Orchestra 20th January 2014"

"This is the second year running we have used the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for our St Patrick''s party, and they were a huge hit again. We had our biggest turnout for an event, making it a very successful fundraiser. A big part of this was people wanting to join in with the Ceilidh fun again, having experienced the band last year. The music and calling were excellent, and the dances were great fun. It was great to try some new dances too. Our guests were already talking about next year as they left!"

"Thank you knoxville highway for making my 50th birthday party such a great night. You had all my guests on the dance floor from start to finish. The whole evening was based on a country and western. Your music set was perfect all the classics were played. All the guest have messaged me to say having a live band perform made the evening so authentic. Thank you for making my 50th birthday party one to remember you sure know how to have a rooting tooting time I can not recommend your band enough amazing amazing live band thank you"

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."
