"Blue Jewel Ceilidh made my parents' 40th anniversary a roaring success! They were punctual, extremely organised, and so very talented. Excellent callers had everyone dancing, laughing and having fun and the music was fabulous. They played well known dances and some new ones which were great. They were also brilliant as they played beautiful interim music whenever needed to give people a chance to catch their breath and have a drink but not miss any dances if they wished. They gave us extra dances at the end and a few people have already taken their details for further events. A superb find, fantastic value and thank you so much. We will definitely be contacting you again in the future!"

"We had such fun, it was so good to see everyone happy, smiling and engaged with the dancing. The venue staff were much impressed and had been sending videos to their off-duty colleagues because they were so taken with the proceedings. So much better than a disco …."

"Rebecca, our Harpist, was fantastic. Played beautifully and looked stunning. We had to leave for photos and missed some of our favourite songs and she even stayed late to play especially for us (bride and groom). Love her, love the music, loved the service! 10/10. Highly recommend."

"Hi Gordon, We can't begin to thank you and the band enough for making Friday such a special evening. Helen was really looking forward to dancing with all her friends and the music you played certainly made people want to get up and join in, even oldies like me. Thank you also for managing the ceilidh dancing so well in a very restricted amount of space. We had expected just a few people to take part but were overwhelmed by the numbers and the enthusiasm. Helen had forewarned a number of her friends about the dances we were having so a few had taken advantage of the YouTube tutorials available but the success was all down to yourself. We both realised that you played for much longer than initially envisaged so thank you very much for that. Best wishes!"

"We were delighted with the ceilidh band; they were lovely, professional and sounded brilliant! I was really impressed how they matched the energy of the guests really well, making sure to give little breaks or easier dances when energy was flagging and also played some lovely high energy numbers to get the dancing started! The venue was also really complimentary at how quick and professional they were at setting up and putting away at the end with no bother. Lastly, they pitched the level perfectly with some more difficult pieces and some easier ones that really suited our mostly beginner crowd. Their calling was fun and upbeat and they were polite and professional to a fault. "We held perhaps the most successful party we've ever had on Saturday and appreciation of Martin's part in that cannot be properly described. A lovely man playing beautiful music, he constantly judged the 'mood' of the moment and adapted the play list to suit. Absolutely perfect."

"Would highly recommend them" Wraggle taggle were great (9th September 2023* Saturday Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Rd, Croydon CR0 1BD}. The communication from the band leader was fantastic from the very beginning. They arrived on time and were very flexible considering the extreme heat on the day of our wedding. "I must start by saying that both my sister and I realised we failed to formally thank you and your wonderful band for a perfect night last weekend. We both regret this enormously and I only hope you could see through the night what a perfect contribution your band made to it We have had lovely feedback from guests and the staff at the venue said it was one of the best party's they had ever hosted. There is no doubt that a big reason for this was down to Craigi. The music was great. Everything we had hoped and more. Please pass on my thanks to your excellent band members and of course special thanks to you. It was lovely to have you all there from the start and your playing really added to the happy atmosphere. "Blue Jewel played at our wedding two weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic. They were the highlight of the wedding party for us and for many of the wedding guests. Lots of people joined in with the energetic music. Clear instructions for the dances made it easy for everyone to join in. Apart from how fun the celeidh itself was, the thing that we appreciated most of all about Blue Jewel - and the thing that stands out about them - is that it was so easy and stress-free to organise. A couple of emails prior to the wedding to confirm timings and cost (which was very reasonable), and then they turned up on time, were very polite and flexible about us running late with the rest of the wedding, played brilliant music and got everyone up dancing. There was no fuss or stress whatsoever. Absolutely brilliant. We would recommend Blue Jewel to anyone. "
