"For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "

Excellent musicians throughout and great, clear direction/calling to help those of us that were complete beginners and those that were from Germany with limited English! Genuinely impressed with the pace they managed to keep until the very end... Both the band as well as the guests! Very professional and provided great communication from the moment we booked. "Sarah-Jane was extremely helpful in finding Pat for our wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. Pat himself was a lovely man, smiled the whole time he attended and was very polite. I heard him being asked to play a certain tune and it was done perfectly without hesitation. Excellent service!"

"The band played at my restaurant for a friends 40th birthday last weekend. None of us had seen them before and we were all blown away by how good they were ! Lilac who sang lead has a beautiful voice and the whole party were on their feet the entire evening … i would definitely use them again and im recommending them to my customers who book events at our place and want a fantastic band !! Thank you so much for making the evening so special xx"
