"I just wanted to write and thank you SO much for everything you did for our choir on Saturday night. I have heard incredible feedback from them, and that everyone was up and dancing. Thank you so much for fitting it in and please pass on our thanks to your band members, many of whom, I know, changed their plans at the last minute in order to accommodate this booking. "

"I just have to thank Black Velvet Band for the great job they did at my 70th birthday ceilidh in Bristol on 24th June. I had such a great time, and that was partly down to the three of them working hard, and giving us great music to dance to. I danced every dance and enjoyed it so much. When the caller was explaining how to reel I thought, "Uh oh, this'll be fun!" and it certainly was ... I haven't laughed so much in ages. So, well done everyone involved, and if we ever have another I'll be sure to contact you again."

"Just wanted to say that the band we excellent yesterday. The music was great and everyone loved it! The guys really made my Mum’s 70th birthday a party to and she was so happy loved seeing everyone have such a great time. Great memories made. "We booked Jamie for our wedding, for both a couple of live sets & his DJ service. He really did not disappoint & was amazing on the night.. His vocal performances are great & his voice so unique that he makes any song his own! He did every song we asked for off his repertoire & even chucked in a few more, which all went down a treat with our guests.. and again with the DJ service.. he played all the songs we asked for & created a unique vibe for the evening personalised just for us! If we were ever to have a party or another event I would look to hire Jamie again 100%, not only is he amazing at his job, but he is such a great, friendly guy.. who helped make our special day that bit more! :-)"

"We had a really great evening. The musicians were very friendly and accommodating. When some of our guests were late arriving because of the dreaded road closure and subsequent diversions, they adapted their sets to suit our timings and many non-dancers were encouraged to get up and shake a leg. Everyone said how much they enjoyed themselves and we would certainly recommend and use them again."

"Blue Jewel were fantastic fun and got everyone on their feet dancing. A friendly band who were a pleasure to have join us- we had to move the furniture out the way as so many people were dancing! Thank you so much for a fantastic time, would highly recommend! "

We had lots of first time ceilidh-ers who were sceptical before it began and they kept telling me how much fun they were having! This really was the most fun evening. Great energy and enthusiasm .
