"My legs are still aching because I danced so much! The band arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful and the music was delightful. It was a mixed crowd, many of whom had never met each other before but with one thing in common – they had never done ceilidh dancing before! The caller was absolutely brilliant – it didn’t matter that most people had no idea how to dance the reels! Everyone joined in and thoroughly enjoyed themselves."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were a fantastic edition to our Burns Night celebrations. From communicating before the event to the actual day, the group were professional and easy to reach. They also went above and beyond what their initial brief by ed by agreeing to toast the haggis – which was met with cheers - and taking suggestions from the crowd for different dances. By the end of the night they felt like part of the ROSL family."

"Well what a cracker of a céilí that was! Céilí Max played for us at our wedding and the buckets of sweat that were dripping off our guests in the chill of the evening just about says it all about how fantastic they were! The music – fantastic, the caller – brilliant (and hilarious) and communication leading up to the day – couldn’t have asked for more. We (and all our guests – they are still talking about it!) had an absolute ball at the céilí you put on for us and we highly recommend Céilí Max!"

"Huge thank you back to all the Annasach band, you were absolutely brilliant and helped make the night truly fantastic. The Ceilidh calling was superb too, especially with such a motley bunch of amateurs to wrangle! Dot and I couldn't have asked for more beautiful, fun music and have already put the Vows nomination in! Keeping my fingers crossed we get a perfect excuse to book the band again! "Mark was excellent; we left him to decide what to play and when and he judged it perfectly, keeping a low profile to begin with while people mingled and chatted then gradually stepping up the pace. When he was in full swing the everyone was up dancing and singing and it was an absolute riot. Most of our guests came to us and asked how we found him and said how the thoroughly enjoyed the music. Some said best party ever - we were absolutely thrilled and enjoyed ourselves tremendously."
