"We cannot speak highly enough of Elliot and the band who played at our wedding. Organising, booking and liaising with them was a complete pleasure and they accommodated our needs to the finest detail. Their repertoire was upbeat, yet relaxed and their flexibility to adjust to the mood of the evening and crowd was superb. We have received rave reviews of the band from our friends and family who loved the cheerful music and entertainment. We can’t recommend them enough!"

"I wanted to email you to let you know how fantastic the band were. The first dance was a magical moment and they were so upbeat, tight and fantastic. They judged the tone perfectly and made the whole evening. What a lovely group - we can't thank you enough. If I have any negative feedback for you, it is that the sample music/info that is available about this band does not do them justice, as we did not dream that they would be as brilliant as they were, which of course is the best sort of surprise you could hope for at your wedding."

"Thank you for making our wedding such a special day. Absolutely everyone has commented on how brilliant the music was and how much they enjoyed it, both during the ceremony and later on in the evening. It was so uplifting and energetic, sincere but also fun at the same time. I’m afraid to say I burst into tears at one point in the evening as you played Ami Manero – it’s such a lovely tune and after umpteen glasses of champagne it all got a bit too much….tears of happiness, I hasten to add! We truly believe we couldn’t have picked a better band – you created exactly the mood we wanted and it was so nice to see all of our friends and family enjoying themselves so thoroughly on the dance floor. I joined some friends out on the terrace at one point, and the sound of the music drifting out through the French doors on the candlelit terrace created a really lovely atmosphere. Perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and will continue to tell anyone who will listen about your band. "

"I booked 'The Grand Central Trio' for my 60th birthday party. They were fabulous: on time, friendly, professional and oh so talented!. They created a great atmosphere on the night. Communication was straightforward and thorough and they were very patient with my endless emails and phone calls. I would certainly recommend them."

"Such a wonderful band, and would definitely have them again. Everyone enjoyed the dancing even if they were just watching. Even my husband who never dances joined in and is now a ceilidh addict. 10/10! Highly recommend! "

"I liked the fact that when booking it was 'relaxed' in that it was not too rigid with the timing. Unfortunate that Hannah was sick but this made no difference to my party as Sarah -Jane stepped in. Again flexibility (on both sides) resulted in a great performance - we received lots of compliments only downside was that we were unable to listen as much as we would have liked to .... There's always a next time. ..... We and especially our guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance - very happy to recommend . Ann & Antonio "

"Please pass on a huge thanks to the band for last night! They got the crowd going and kept them under ‘control’ with a brilliant blend of instructions and banter even as we inevitably got a little rowdier towards the end. "The Black Velvet Band provided us with a fantastic ceilidh for our wedding reception. They really got everyone up and moving, so much better than a boring DJ set. They were even accommodating to our more inebriated guests and explained the dance moves clearly. We had a wonderful time and would consider them again for future parties."

"Swing- Gitan have performed here at Chatsworth on several occasions over the last couple of years and they have been absolutely fabulous! Very professional in their manner, timely and their music is superb! A great band and I hope we will see them again at Chatsworth very soon."
