"Better late than never, just want to say a big thank you for a great night on Sunday. We had a fantastic time and going by the amazing comments and cards and messages we have been receiving so did all our friends and family. Superb music that just fitted in so well with our requirements and great last set that had everyone jumping off the walls!! Saw my brother dancing for the first time in 20 years! totally brilliant . Thank you for taking the time to get the backing track for our first dance and wow wasn't that a surprise success!!! Everyone loved it. Your personality shone through all night. I hope you enjoyed it too and I hope that we can one day ask you to play again. Many thanks and thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special!"

"Mike and the band were excellent and performed brilliantly for my 50th birthday celebration. Guests commented straight away on how good they were and we loved that they were able to tune in to the vibe of the evening and adjust to the various levels of enthusiasm and dancing competence that was on the dance floor. I thoroughly recommend them if you are thinking of having a hoe down and know that both myself and my guests will be remembering a great evening for a long time to come."

"Funk With Us played at our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely FANTASTIC! High energy, super helpful and just a pleasure to work with, we cannot recommend them highly enough! Lilac and Remko both spoke with us in advance to get to know us a little better and find out more about the type of music we were interested in. Lilac gave us a call in the lead up, was available via whatsapp and was just generally super helpful. On the night of our wedding the dance floor was always filled with everyone singing and dancing along and having a really great time! So, so, so pleased we booked Funk With Us, thanks for making our wedding evening so awesome! Thanks Lilac, Remko and the rest of the band!"

"Well what can we say! Jack was absolutely fantastic arrived on time with equipment set up ready for the evening. They sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. was absolutely amazing such a talented band would love to have thwmat another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see them again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing band."

"Jamie came to play at our event, a 30th birthday party. Everybody at the party absolutely loved him. He was able play the perfect mix of old and new music, he's got a great voice and by the end of the evening he had everybody up dancing! He's also a really nice guy and interacted well with all of the party guests. I would definitely recommend booking Jamie for any event, we'd certainly love to book him again in the future; thanks Jamie!"

"Funk With Us providing the band, DJ and PA for our wedding on the 9th October 2021. And they were absolutely amazing. In the lead up to the event, their diligence and patience in helping sort out some issues around sound levels at the venue went way above and beyond what we'd initially agreed with them. They friendly, highly personal service and wish to really understand what we wanted for the day meant we felt really positive and confident going into the day. On the day itself, they were amazing with the band being great fun, really getting involved and making sure the dance floor was both packed and super fun. We would absolutely recommended everytime, these guys are amazing. 12/10."

"Wow what a night, such a good party! It takes Two were just marvellous. There was plenty of contact before the party asking us what we wanted, they arrived in plenty of time to set up and their music just right, a variety of old and new with some guitar solo’s...plus Kelly voice is wonderful. We would highly recommend them, they are very professional, good value for money and really get the party going. Thank you both so much."

"BEST BAND EVER!! Lilac and her 6pc funk band played at our wedding in Summer 2021, and Rem DJ'd. Both sets were absolutely fantastic! In the build up to the wedding, Lilac and Rem were incredibly helpful in guiding us through our playlist, identifying crowd pleasers and song collections which worked incredibly well together. They were both full of ideas and suggestions and left no stone unturned in their preparations! Planning our evening set with them was a real giggle! They were very clear in outlining their requirements on the day, and recommending what timings would work well. They were also incredibly understanding, cooperative, and willing to be flexible as we waited to plan our wedding around COVID. On the day, Lilac and the team were full of energy and this reverberated around the room, creating a truly special atmosphere! Lilac has an amazing, soulful voice and so much stage presence! The saxophonist was also outstanding!! They kept the dance floor filled all evening and full of noise as we all sang along. Lilac and the team's set was incredible, and they kept going beyond the two 45 min slots to all of our delight! Rem's DJ set to conclude the evening was incredible! He struck a really great balance between old school classics and more modern, higher tempo tunes. We'll remember excitedly dancing along to Avici and Craig David, and finishing off with a sing along to Wonderwall, Sweet Caroline and Angels, with all our best friends surrounding us, for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much for a massive contribution towards making our wedding the best day of our lives! "
