"Had a great time with the band at our wedding, there was a great mix throughout and all the guests found something they liked in the music including the Irish parts added. Asked for the 6 piece band as well with male and female vocals which added variation and fiddle players provide that little extra. Thanks Steve, Geoff and the team ! "Jamie was fantastic from start to finish, incorporating some songs we’d asked for with some spur of the moment classics that got everyone dancing for hours on end! He managed to make the most of the weather on the day with an outdoor set that sounded incredible, and then kicked of the evening with a lively indoor one. The music was the perfect fit for our day, and everyone commented on how great he sounded. Huge thanks and for anyone who books him you’ll have an amazing time!"

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a Birthday Party with a mixed age group of family and friends. They were great with a special mention to Jennie (the caller) who really worked hard getting us to do the different dances. Everyone really enjoyed the dances and had a lot of fun! I mustn’t forget Jon and Mike who provided the music. I can’t say enough good things about them – just to say that if you book them you will have a great time!"

"Hello Absolute! We just wanted to say thanks to the band for performing at our wedding recently. We had seen you before so knew that you were a great band and our guests seemed very impressed. The rendition of our first dance song (You are the Best Thing by Ray Lamontagne) was perfect, so thank you very much for that! "I have been a fan of Kelly's Heroes for many years. I never tire of hearing them. As we say in Ireland the Craics always good at their gig. I think the secrets are they are accomplished musicians no weakness in any department. Hugh range of songs and tunes! Tony who fronts the band makes everyone feel welcomed and encourages joining in the choruses. I would recommend them every time. Cracking live band and with their any CDs you can take them home after the gig! "

"Funk With Us were extraordinary from start to finish. Both Lilac and her partner Remko were very helpful in the lead up to our Wedding and made a huge effort to understand what we wanted from the evening and how to tailor the sets towards our own music tastes. On the night itself, we couldn't have been more impressed. Lilac set the tone for the entire night and really made our Wedding everything we'd dreamed it to be. If you want to have an evening of amazing music led by a highly talented and exciting performer to wow you and your guests, then you really must choose the Funk With Us! I cannot wait to use them again in the future for big life events."

"The following is not made up.... but a reflection of the evening! Thank you very much for providing us with fantastic entertainment for our après-ski party! From us being very unhelpful in saying 'we like anything!' you correctly gauged what music we really liked and provided us with superb 90s indie rock music which took us far away from the 40th celebration and back to the 'good old party days'! You also added in some classics which had everyone up on the dance floor. Many people commented to me during the evening, and since, about how brilliant the music was and I am sure you will be getting some requests from them too. Some couldn't believe it was just you and thought we had an entire band up at the front! I only wish we could repeat the party again - we loved it and the music was integral to our party's success. "Having Absolute Band topped off our perfect day. I don't think we really got any photos as everyone was dancing from the moment they came on. In fact, I think people were even dancing to their sound check! Communication was great throughout the booking process and we liked that you could choose to add certain musicians so we included a fiddler as we wanted some Irish classics too. The band played two brilliant sets and before we knew it, the night was over. Exactly how we wanted our wedding to end, with everyone wanting more!
