"Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio performed at a surprise party for my wife’s 60th Birthday recently. It was intended to be a function at which people could be fully involved and Boy! Did they do just that! I honestly cannot remember such a function where all of the guests were agreed it was an evening to remember that was also such fun. The whole success of the celebration came from the bands active participation and willingness to do everything possible to make the evening into a night to remember. That, they surely did. Thank you Black Velvet Ceilidh Band. You and the band made my wife very, very happy. She will not forget and neither will I. You are indeed very special musicians and very special people. May I wish you all well."

"We first saw Pop swings play at a friends wedding and booked them for ours the very next day. They were the icing on the cake for our wedding day and everyone enjoyed the music and danced all night. The flexibility of their music and talent is fantastic. I can't wait to host another party and book them again. Cheers guys. "

"Last evening attendees to the to the Goods Shed in Tetbury were privileged to a spectacular Swing Jazz performance by this truly spectacular and accomplished group of guys. They are all very talented musicians that literally make their instruments talk. I couldn’t take my eyes off the guitarist playing the Gibson to whom nothing was beyond his skill set. My final observation was the obvious visual enjoyment the whole group derived from their music. A real pleasure to observe. Thank every one of you so much fun an enjoyable evening, hopefully soon to be repeated."

"Played at my recent wedding at St Davids Hotel and Spa in Cardiff Bay. They were fantastic for the drinks reception and everyone commented how brilliant and professionally they performed. If you have a wedding coming up and need a band for the reception this is the band! "

"Henson's Hot Club were so amazing at our wedding, so elegant and such wonderful music, JUST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY and so lovely to deal with and up for going with the flow, we started the set in the pub garden and then moved it inside which worked great. So many people have said how wonderful it was to have such a lovely gorgeous band. Cant recommend them highly enough. These are the guys to book! "

"We booked Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a sixtieth birthday party. Very much a family event, so all ages including children, who particularly enjoyed it, although everyone had a really great time. One of the parents told me that her little one has decided that a ceilidh is the very best kind of birthday party, so the bar was set high for all future birthdays there! A few people knew the dances already, but most didn’t, and our caller guided us through each dance so that everyone could join in the fun! The atmosphere was lovely, and the musicians were impressive, plus really lovely people who were accommodating, helpful and great fun. I would definitely recommend them; they were fantastic, and the whole evening was an absolute joy. The only thing now is to find a good reason to do it all again!"

"We auditioned quite a few musicians online before choosing the Tzigauners We love gypsy jazz especially the original ‘Hot Club’ numbers From the outset Richard was brilliant. He spoke with my husband to ensure the repertoire was to his satisfaction & all other information about payment etc was clear & concise We were kept fully apprised without being bombarded On the actual day they arrived promptly & set up unobtrusively whilst all the other preps were going on around them Then the important bit - the music ? ? They are all brilliant musicians & read the tone of the party perfectly So many positive comments from our guests across all age groups It really added a great vibe to the whole event Great musicians & great attitude. … now that’s a rarity in my experience! So good in fact that my daughter wants to use them again for her upcoming wedding … now there’s a recommendation! Thanks SO much Tzigauners for helping to make it such a memorable day for us ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

The guys really made my Mum’s 70th birthday a party to and she was so happy loved seeing everyone have such a great time. Great memories made. You guys were on top form and I was seriously impressed with your style and professionalism. You played all the great tracks we were hoping for, and I am glad the weather held out and you could play, as all the guests kept commenting on how great it was to have you there."
